    Just curious, why would you build the colony at virginia? I build mine right by Boston so I can get tourmaline, emeralds, gold and silver, then go to Boston and take the train straight to SF, then straight on to Japan for nanban trade, then reverse course to quickly get back to Europe - 12 minutes sailing time back to SF, then 10 minutes sailing time from Boston to Seville. I can go from my colony to Edo in around 12-15 minutes of actual time with this method, so it's a pretty quick method of being able to buy nanban trade items and then get them to SEA. What advantages are you getting by being in virginia?

    Aaaaaahh it's Sideshow Bob!

    It's a shipbuilder's colony and the closest to Seville. Also, our other colony is right next to it and carries lumber to help supply mats to make parts in carib. Along with ores, it's a crafter's paradise.
