Rank needed to build Turkish Galley?

So is the rank needed to build a Turkish galley back up to 18 now? You used to could build it at 14 on OGP, but not now the last time I checked. If it's 18 then the ship is not nearly as useful for SB grinding as it used to be.

    18?!

Nah not that I know of in Tunis its 14 development was needed and the development is there now so it should be able to be built.

Now this last patch did do alot of wonky stuff to the game if it messed it up bring a r14 SB to tunis and see if you can build it after a bit of investment like 5 or 10mil or so and post SS.  It MAY be yet another bug but would need confirmation

You should be able to build it at Tunis SY after 2m+ investment and R14+ SB. In case you're Ottoman, you can do this also in Istanbul, since it's now developed enough.

Just in Tunis, or can you build it in Algiers also?

Algiers is an Ottoman territory and will depend upon Otto player investments to that port.

I'm still trying to figure out why players chose to invest in Tunis rather than Tripoli. Tripoli pretty much is as good as Algiers for building a TG...and also becomes a closer source for cotton...for players who do sewing.

Tunis has the WORST set up for SB grind! The bank and nearest port add up to be a lot of wasted time. At least Tripoli is gaining development slowly.

Yeah, Tunis is pretty bad, especially when you're running all that way every 5 minutes.
