Bordeaux is most definitely a starter dungeon.

Bourduex is a starter dungeon in terms of access to it I mean its accessible right at the beginning of the game

But it terms of difficulty youre not going to go right out of intermediate Maritime school and go into bourduex and catch wreck nah you going to need like lv 35 or 30 at least and a strong weapon and armor to win.  Now if youre a godlike land battler and you can take advantage of AI flaws and patterns or item combos,  traps and timings you CAN beat this at lower levels or even unarmed…

Anywho bourduex starter in terms of access but not starter in terms of difficulty

    @ CPC

Bord is a starter dungeon compared to other dungeons, it isn't quite straight outa school noob no.

Considering the varies of dungeons and difficulties it is starter. ;)

I agree with CPC. Bordeaux dungeon's levels are around 50's that's definitely not for newbies. However, it's possibly for newbies to complete first 2 floors even though 2nd floor is quite tough especially one of NPCs is over aggressive and likes to use close combat. On the 1st floor, you can use wooden/stones as obstacles to wipe out enemies with throwing weapon, bow, or guns.On 2nd floor, 2 of NPCs are not really threat to you ,but you will need evade while use long range to kill one who is very aggressive and has huge chains.

Indeed, Bordo is available to players from beginning of game ,but it's way off too tough for noobs who might have exact zero experience for land battles or dungeons.

50 is still newbie level, also levels don't matter in dungeon's.. you can be lvl 15 and beat level 80s.
Bordeaux is still considered a ( newb dungeon ) xD I will be doing an end game dungeon video and mediate to show the difference soon.

Sui,your video says advice on early dungeons ,but you start with bordeaux, completely skipping over ,syracuse, giza, luxor and abu simbel, the earliest dungeons

do you expect new players to skip over these and go right to bordeaux?

if,indeed, you intend to teach new players how to make money on early dungeons, wouldn't it be better to start from the beginning(Syracuse)? a new player can(if prepared) do syracuse and make decent money

The visual of the video has nothing to do with what it is about, listen and learn...

@fliblew666 hi pal you say you can make 2b per day in here.

    How do you do that?

I’m getting a ton of cargo stuff which I’ve been selling at market and the odd PO here and there.

Do you bazaar all the cargo goods too?

  • VictoriasSecretVictoriasSecret Posts: 78Member Beginner
Without watching it admittedly. Bordeax is not a starter dungeon. I would recommend real new players start with Syracuse, open all levels of Giza, then when you have 2 heals, an invun, and an antidote, at least 100 def and no less than 50 attack, then try top floor in bordeax. You can farm 1st floor only for Purchase orders and make good money for newbs or more advanced players. So that part I would agree with.

So a newbie who barely knows how to equip items for land battle - let alone which ones to equip. Probably has low to non-existent land battle skill ranks. Might have few if any techs. Nor the knowledge for how countering, and chaining those work. Almost certainly doesn't have the requisite gear, or the cash to buy it...They should go to Bordeaux - the starter dungeon - and make 1 or 2 billion a day... I don't think so mate.

And levels do matter in that your total level affects your maximum stamina(hp in dungeons). It can be the difference between dying from 1 poke + a hell-fire torch, versus taking that and more, and still living to tell the tale.

I've seen a number of comments lately by some veterans of UWO that seem to indicate just how far out of touch they are with the newbie experience when playing this incredibly in-depth game.

Your vid is still useful, but you would be better of just titling it "How to make money from Bordeaux dungeon". And maybe calling Bordeaux an intermediate dungeon ;)

I'm not that familiar with dungeons, but I can go through Bordeaux pretty easily, it just doesn't seem to be that profitable compared to spice runs or nanban, and I can only make maybe 400-800m in a full day of spice and nanban runs. Whoever is making 2b a day at a dungeon must really have some tricks that I haven't figured out.

The thing about bourduex dungeon is the goods you get are trash unprocessed BUT after being processed and sold to players it becomes really profitable especially when you add in the dungeon titles and other effects and the most significant being able to clear it FAST.  I call bourduex "the crafters" dungeon.

    Bourduex
    1. White ore used in alchemy, MCT and lastly LCCT.
These run 15 to 30k or turn to ointments sell for like 1 to 2mil each , MCT sell 35 to 50k LCCT 200- 300k and up. Not to mention with production bonuses you can get up wards of 60% more due to refines and great success. Hell I used to even buy White ore off other players at the church to refine and to make it even better LCCT MCT ointments count as items so they can stack without having to ever sail back to store it.

2.crystals used in alchemy I see them sell 50 to 70k each of process into glasswork

Stomach meds used to make headache meds with alchemy that sell for like 1to 2mil each of sell them straight to players for 50 to 100k each

Gold and Gold dust simply put used to multiply alchemy ointments of simply to make 100def gloves. Gold sell 50k to 100k in London company shop the dust just throw in alt Bazaar until you can process a CRAP TON in Havana with refines and GS expect 500 dust to make about 800 Gold big money...

Bourduex is the nanban material capital of the world people come here to load up cheaply without wasting po's wine sells for 5k to 10k each just alt Bazaar it at market keeper people will gooble it up

Bourduex has PO3 and PO2 the two most commonly used and in-demand pos in game due to railroad nanban expect PO3 to sell for 1 to 2mil each during that time OR Go to Boston SF yourself and but nanban to sell in EU .PO2 about 650 to 750k each. Each run expect about 10 pos a run

So all this can net BIG returns but wait there's more as with all dungeons every member in your fleet has a chance to get goods from dungeon chests when opened so bring another two of your alts in to TRIPLE all the pos and meds and Gold White ore you get.  On avg you should be getting about 10 to 15mil worth of goods a run. 3 toons make that 45mil.

Now clear time at my peak I was clearing a floor defeating mobs and getting chests about 30 seconds no BS. So about. 1min to 1.5 min a run.

45mil X 60mins is 2.7bil or 60runs non stop in quick succession add more time. To Bazaar and craft etc..  So about 2hours of mind numbing dungeon can do this.

Now just to be clear. The time it takes to sell to players may take a while a day or two or more you can sell for less to sell quick.

So in terms of making 2bil a day with 3toons in Bourduex utilizing Bazaar alt crafting refines and player market VERY DO ABLE. just tedious and boring but... EFFECTIVE.

Another trick to maximize profits invest no not invest in ports but invest in other players.

Like my comp used to run dungeons and bring me like 60po2 then I would take that make about 3 to 4 100 attack weapons. sell them  they keep 50% of the profit I make so I sell 300mil worth they keep 150mil and I keep 150mil no loss of profit to me as I didn't have to dungeon or buy pos

You can do many other ways too teamwork make the dream work

So if I want to go to a dungeon to get good stuff to sell without crafting, what's the next choice after Bordeau?

Any EA dungeon will do as far as selling pure goods fsd for one

As far as Bourduex although it's the crafters dungeon doesn't mean the dungeoneer themselves have to be crafters as you can simply sell the stuff to a crafter and still make bank... Being a crafter yourself maximizes profit in Bourduex which Is excellent but simply selling to crafters is also pretty damn good too.

@CrzyPsycoChick actually, rome is the next best dungeon after bordeux. It has much higher npc's and better drops. plus you can get mst's as drops there :)

    no edit :/

plus you can find secret room in rome where you have to fight 12 lvl 80+ npc's .

I’ve sold tons of that bord stuff to market keeper. Like so many crystals and gems and white ore. mainly because I’m quickly running out of space. But also I don’t know what to do with it.
It was fascinating to here you explain all that cpc but I have neither the know how or the connections to craft of sell that stuff. But I suppose what I should do is bazaar it.
Thanks for the info on it though.

Can someone also explain Rome dungeon please? This is all new to me but since I’m ranking SM and finesse I’m quite enjoying the dungeon grind.

the Rome dungeon sounds interesting, plus it's about time I got to the Colosseum to work on my land battle skills.

Rome dungeon can be accessed in the church from the altar. Be sure you are WELL geared up for it. The npc's are over lvl50 and all use techs. Rome has upper and mid floors as well as many secret rooms. The way you find the secret rooms is to solve the puzzles from the brazier's. i forget how to open mid lvl's but i think you have to do upper a certain number of times for it to open. (I had mid open on OGP but not here yet)

As for bordeux. you don't need to craft to make good money. Items to farm for from the upper lvl's are...
-white ore (either use for crafting mccts or just sell in bazzar)
-red wine you can sell right there in bord in bazzars to people who are stocking up for nanban runs.
    -swmp that you can bazzar
    -po 2 & 3 (po 2 sells better than po 3)
-esbt that you can either use or sell
    - antacids (good sellers)

the rest of the drops i tend to just sell at the market. Back on OGP i had close to 5k expidition runs, most of them came form bord. To maximize your return make sure you fully gear your character to kill npc's as quickly as possible, that way you can get more runs in for your time. On average you can make 100m per hour of running bordeux but with alts you can increase this amount.

In never knew the alt thing! I’ve done maybe 40 runs past few days all with one toon xD

Does someone have more info on forte Santa Domingo? That one drops EA goods I believe from the video?
That sounds like a good earner.

Basically I hate nanban so want to find a way to earn money and grind land battle at the same time.

@HelloAll do you have the web address for ivyro? all the dungeons and what you can get from them are listed there

  • HelloAllHelloAll Posts: 701Member Intermediate
I do, I didn’t think of that. Thank you :)
  • purplepiratepurplepirate Posts: 994Member Intermediate
rome/labrynth/atlantis dungeons aren't listed there since they are newer and ivyro hasn't been updated in a long time.

No problem. I think I want to do the best ones for making money really. Maybe one that drops EA goods, I’m not sure. I’ll look I got FSD and some EA ones :)
  • purplepiratepurplepirate Posts: 994Member Intermediate
only thing about EA dungeons, you need to have ALOT of esbt's to do them, especially if you are going to do the lower lvl's for max return. Also you don't get as much drops when using esbt's but you can sell EA goods right away in europe.
