Have I lost my beloved UWO game/account

General Discussion

Due to a lengthy spell of ill health and other personal issues during the Summer of 2017, I took a break from 'Uncharted Waters' after two years intensive play, by which time I was up around the level 65 mark. It was only today that I returned to discover the major change from OG to Papaya and you can imagine my monumental dismay at learning that the Transfer Service ended on 31st January of this year.

As you alł know, to get up to the mid sixty level takes a hell of a lot of work and the prospect of starting from scratch when I know how long it would take me to get to where I was is just too big a pill to swallow.

Is it really the case that my account and my game along with it is now beyond reach and has been trashed, or is there any hope at all that I can get it back?

Break it to me gently folks because you know only too well how you'd feel if all that hard work and advancement were lost forever.

    Well we know pal because we have all had to experience it.
    The transfer that you speak of the ended in jan only gave us some parts, boosts and some free uwc (uncharted waters coin) to spend in the shop for a few months.

    We all lost everything, levels, ships, items, equips. A complete reset.

    We didn’t have any port open and had to do constant IQ’s to access those ports and eventually open nanban again.

    Only recently have we been able to make certain ship and get national panels because of lack of development.

    It’s a real shame pal but look on the bright side that you can come into a functioning world again and quickly rank.

    We didn’t even have high vig food to buy after the reset and crafting was harder because some ports didn’t sell the things we needed for crafting due to lack of development.

    It's true that the re-grind sucks. But you are not alone. We are all still regrinding from scratch.

    theres gonna be a thanksgiving event at NA landing point where battle. collection and procurement(that i know off) man you can gain 40k adv xp(not sure of maritime xp) per day so x4.... you count it

    Where are these events advertised? I only ever find out after they have finished normally.

    @HelloAll its not advertised... if you see a player name Destry, hes have a guide for those event at NA for a month
     like when millionaire spawn, when nanban merchant appear at SF

    and the festival is online right now @HelloAll just please dont pirate me for giving info :s

    @pekkauwer hehe, thanks pal. And I’ve been white for a few weeks now so I’m in as much danger as you are. All adds too the fun tho.

    That sounds pretty good. If I see Destry I may ask is he/she is able to post that calendar on here :)
