how long can a post be?

does anyone know how many characters a post can be on this forum? I've seen some people write huge comments in some threads and wanted to know if we can set the number. I want to post something but it sais i'm x# characters over the limit.

    Not sure of the exact limit but ive hit it a few times I talk ALOT lol XD… never the less any text limit can be overcome on this forum using pictures 

    Simply type everything you want to say screenshot it crop it upload to imgur.com post the pic here easy peasy lemon squeezy.
