Tired of getting kicked from every game as a new player

Hey All,

I'm a new player here (Level 13) and I'm getting pretty upset that I keep getting kicked from every game I join. How can I gain experience and level up if I can't even finish a match. I'm just trying to have fun here and it seems like everyone here just kicks anyone who has a negative score.

Dear @Draken8er,

We are aware of this situation and we obviously want to change it / make the vote kick system better. Meanwhile, we cannot prevent players from kicking new ones or those who have a negative score.

Nevertheless, I strongly recommend you to keep on playing since there are many kind and sympathetic users that understand every player, specially newbies.

If I could make a suggestion. Maybe limit the amount a player can kick. Like 3 kicks a week. Or the user can only be kicked out of a game once a day or something like that.

This used to happen to me all the time when I was a lower level. Until I got better and people wanted to keep me I was always kicked. All you can really do is get some friends together on your team so you can avoid being kicked. If you think being a higher level will prevent it, try doing some PVE, it's a fast way to level up if you do it right.

I think this got out of control in the last years. I experienced that with my other lvl 33 account in CQC. Ironically I always got kicked for being too good, I got kicked out of every 2nd room, that was pathetic - Got kicked after 10mins when I achieved half of all the total teamkills... I made a topic about that around 7 months ago, but got kinda ignored.

@Draken8er Sounds like a good idea to me, maybe similar to the mute system. If you spam (the vote function), you'll get blocked.

@N0HCH0 I don't really know, those kids got way too much dinar these days thanks to their working parents, don't think that this would solve the problem.

The votekick system is not the problem. The only problem is that too many players do not understand that a new player learning the game is much more important than any win:loss ratio on the website.
The only solution is to force the communtiy to accept that being level 7 and playing a 3:21 is not only no reason to be kicked but a a sure way to be banned yourself if kicking someone for learning the game.

Looking at the recent ban lists at least gives me the impression that Papaya cares about a community acting like civilized, educated human beings since the pretty often ban for insulting (which i 100% appriciate).
Why not take it a step further: Communicate ingame, on the forum, on discord and on the website that kicking players for not being the best or even starting and learning the game will result in temporarilly bans. All they need is a few admins patrolling the games on incognito accounts. If they see someone vote while writing "KD"... a few minutes later the news ticker shows "xyz banned for votekick abuse".

If players do not want new ones to play with them they are free to create rooms blocking new players.
If they want new players in the game but only on the other side as easy victims while kicking them from their side...

Enjoy your ban.

Because sometimes punishment is the only way to achieve some improvement.

And of course remove those idiotic win : loss stats from the game. They are not worth a piece of used chewing gum since they are fake and manipulated anyway. Just check how many players of the "loosing" side leave during the last moments before the game ends only to avoid being "a loser".

I totally agree with you Nuffiii. I would love to see bans for votekick abuse! The thing is, why do we even have votekick, I never see any hackers anymore and OVC peeps are usually high level and backed up by their teammates.

I would like to hear what Papaya thinks.

I feel sorry for you. You nailed a big Problem, Warrock has these days.

Kik System is a huge thing.
Nuffiii may be right, in terms of the cause of the Problem. It is not the Kik System, its the players. But papaya cant change Players. And players just like to fuck each other up. I have further arguments in saied thread.
Even removeing the kik system completely would be an option for now, since it is never ever used for acual good use. Just to make people upset or follow own personal reasons.

And the result is, that new players like you leave War Rock. I really wish you would stay but yea, I can totally understand, that this isnt for you.

This is why there should be a simple cap between levels. Other games have a "newb" and "pro" option yet this game allows its most high level and time served players to play against new accounts.

I have asked this 100 times over the years but why is a level 50 -100+ player with now 5/6/7/8/9/10/11 years experience of warrock even in the same rooms as theses low level new accounts? Someone answer this.... It should be impossible to even play against them.

1-25 - 25-120 and slow the XP made for new accounts so getting to level 25 takes at least a month.

I would love to never see a level below 30 again for the rest of my time playing.

lol unfortunately it doesn't even matter if you're good, i do good and still get kicked

the true reasons are that they kick not only noobs but also people who are suspected of hacking or ksing them or simply for a spot for their friend/clan mate

the ksing reason is honestly so stupid, people don't have a brain to think for a second that it is a team game and also how are they so certain they would live if i didn't butt in? if anything i was helping out and possibly saving them from dying

We have now reworked the kick system. There is a limit of 3 kicks per day, any subsequent votekickings after that will cost dinar.

This should give new players (and good players) a bit of a breather from getting kicked.

1k dinar wont bother anyone. you will have to make that really expensive if you seriously want to change things up here.

just try it yourself. create a new acc and kill some of the super skilled veteran players with your f2p guns... wont take long and you get kicked. and real newbies, who wanna learn the game get kicked also for being bad. playing on a low level acc is no fun at all (if you even get a chance to play the game). i`m pretty sure there are enough new players who try out the game. but why would you stay in such a game, where you get forced out by this retarded community? of course you just uninstall and go for the next shooter.

now i got kicked for having 5th slot on my low level acc. i even told people you get it from level up and can get in from the event... yeah, its fun! :)
