To be honest, I found X-trap performing much better in security than GameGuard. Despite the conflict that some players may have, it's far from what we got now.
I think the main reason why gameguard is causing problems frequently is mainly they barely update their security and are far behind with what we do with our Windows Update or any other programs.
I suggested Papaya to replace it and that they pester them to do something about, it's a matter of time that there will be more complaining regarding this.

it's so annoying when i set an aide bazzar up every night only to find i've been disconnected by the morning. Or get dc'd when i'm in the middle of a quest. :(
I started to get massive amounts of 2:2 DCs last week (could be up to every hour), possibly after gameguard update on March 21. Before that, I used to have 2:3 and 3:3 mostly, but like once a day or rarer. Still could be a coincidence because this mostly happens for all 3 characters at the same time, and they're logged in from separate physical computers. Moreover, I can't relogin for a minute or two after that, the server doesn't respond on version check. Finally, I have no problems with internet or ping 8.8.8.8 while this all happens.
I had the 2::2 disconnect error about every 20 minutes since relaunch. I tried everything I could. Ended up having to do a direct connect to my modem with an Ethernet cable instead of using wireless. Now I have nearly no issues.
Never had any problem using wireless when on OGP. Just with papaya.
I completely agreed with Gazi's viewpoint of Gameguard.
Ah I remember someone said gameguard is actual antivirus & spyware program and is designed to be anticheat ,but it often failed to recognize or potential conflict some programs such as Direct X, firewall & antivirus program, Window updates ,etc. Those are reasons why the game often dc'd often.

Yes, I mentioned how I have an issue not being able to use my BitDefender paid services with GameGuard. Never had this issue with X-Trap.
I contacted BitDefender regarding this issue and they, in turn, contacted INCA Internet(nProtect) - GameGuard.

We have provided INCA all of the details they have requested a bit over a month ago.
They have not requested any further information, as such, we can only assume that they have everything they need for a fix.
If the issue still persists on your end, we recommend contacting them for an update.
We're here if we can assist you with anything else.
I run windows 7 home premium 64 bit on a 7 year old computer and I only get dc's every 2 or 3 DAYS. And gameguard is usually not the problem. In fact I like it better than x-trap. maybe some of you people have crappy internet connections?
There was a small note lost inbetween all welcome text, for about a week, dated March 26/24/21/or_so, which said that they're troubleshooting the disconnection issues. Now it's silently gone, as well as gone are my 2::2 problems.

I do get the dc 2:2 but it is rare now. Often when it’s the worse time for it to happen tho.
