Yay, it's finally coming back! :D
I can't wait, i only made it to lvl 73 in the dungeon last time and was still short on a couple of discoveries. I know i'll be spending a lot of time there this time around :)

I never experienced it in Gama as I was a new player.
But it’s seems it’s only accessible for a limited time and also by chance.
    Is this correct?

well, it was the first time around. Don't know yet if this time will be limited or permanent addition. But just in case, i'm going to make sure to get ALL the discoveries early.

oh yeah, and you don't find it by chance. You do 3 quests (edicts) from the palace secretary to make the solar barca which takes you there the first time. After that you can sail there on your own. But each week the location changes so you have to redo the quests again to make another barca to find the new locations.

Dount we have to do one of the initial quest chains first before we can do the edicts ?

    Are they available?

@carlalex there is a quest chain, can't remember it all off hand but part of it is discovering the minos dungeon on crete (land mapping).

I used this to unlock up to solar barge creation which we cant do yet. I suggest everyone get all these quests done so on the 19th we can get atlantis immediately.

I cant wait, i was horrible in land battle and now I'm a bit better haha. Also cant wait to get laurel crown of prayers again!

Based on the Japanese server's experience. Atlantis should stay for about a month before leaving again, then returning a few months later.
It's alright, Ma, I'm only bored.

I don't think I'm going to make it to atlantis, I don't have the adventure skills. Only only of my 2 alts even has room for the skills I need and I would need to get theology and rank it pretty fast. my other skills are low ranked too like observe and recognition. I'm not really sure how to rank these skills so I just use plus equipment to raise the levels to what I need for shipwrecks. Any advice on how to grind theology, observe and recog? And will I be able complete the chain and get to Atlantis in fleet if only one of my alts has the skills?

Well it seems there is 3 avenues to take. Adv, trade, Mari.

Surely you can manage it in one class :)

@WesDoobner that's a cop out Wes. Discovery skills are leachable from other players so you can still do the quests by joining fleets with players that have those skills already.

One of my alt has all three skills, but the levels are low. how do you grind theology, archeology or recognition?

I didn't know there was more than one chain though, if so I should be able to do trade

@WesDoobner One of my alt has all three skills, but the levels are low. how do you grind theology, archeology or recognition?

because i wanted to get my maritime built up first this time around i haven't focused on adv skills heavily yet, but what i do is... every time i enter a city where i can speak the language (even if i'm not in adv job), i visit the archives and grind an adv skill. It'll take longer to build up if you are not doing adv job however you still get the skill ranked while still focusing on your other stuff. Back on Gama i made r10 in all the dis skills by doing it this way even though i only was doing adv stuff at a minimal amount. Also, i always do the daily bonus quest, usually maritime but if the daily jobs suck then i'll go do a daily adv quest instead. As for getting recognition up the best way is if you do sea charting / land mapping. Since you have to do both as part of the Atlantis quest chain, it'll help a lot. But when it comes to recognition, it's the same deal. Just fleet with someone else with higher lvl and when they use recognition for something you use it at same time (or just 1 sec before they use), you will get the dis eventhough you have a lower rank.

I feel really annoyed the chain quests which are full of long and dull stories. We have to spam clicking  during the story just as we did in story line of each nation.
  • HelloAllHelloAll Posts: 701Member Intermediate
    Really annoyed? LOL

How dare the developers try and make it a little bit interesting for adding some depth to the storyline

I mean do the think is got a spare 30 seconds per quest to read a few lines and left click 2 or 3 times?!
Do they think I have time to burn??

Well I’m reading the story line and I’m enjoying it.
I’m also glad the quest are there to do so I can try out Atlantis.

For some the glass is always half empty.
