I think we need some kind of perma +1.5 or 2 for the boston college .Its never going to get done at this rate with how few people work on it now a days. And a lot of the good job + from it are in the higher buildings.

    So impatient.
UWO is not a fast paced game if you have not noticed. You expect to have all the Boston buildings open a few months after it exists?
Nothing in this game is quick to do.
Relax and enjoy playing and eventually we will get it done. We have all survived without Boston college skills up to this point.

No because at the rate of how few peop0le do it its never going to get done.
impatient yes if thats the idea of needing to wait about year or 2   just to get the 3rd let alone the 4th building open thin ya im impatient lol

Its been what 2-3 months all ready and only at 7k out of 10 or 11 to hit building 2 very few people even work on it anymore.
And facts is we dont know if that rate needed from building 2-3 is going to be more thing what building 1-2 is.
If thats the case it really will be  half a year to a year per building if not more.

They are so dang helpfull i dont get why no one would not what them unlocked a free +1 and effects makes a huge diff in game play and can save u a ton of ingame $$.

To be honest the only +skills that I would ever use are from the 4th building. So until that is available am I to switch to a job that is no good for my gameplay and do nothing but Boston research?

    agree with culvern.

And by the time the 4th building opens I’ll prob be mostly maxed refined in most skills in my favoured job so the +1 won’t mean much.

I get the feeling this college is to help low/mid level players get a skill boost and also encourage them to sail outside of Europe a bit.

Problem is there is very few low/mid lvl players now as most of us all started on the relaunch and not many have joined since.

culvern u just proved my point next to no one want's to work on it because of needing to switch to x job.Thats why i said we need a x1.5 or2 so the people that do want to work on it can make a difference and not take half a yer just to hit building 2 and god know how long for building 3-4.

Yes its fine u and many dont care about it .U allready said u would just wait like many other are doing the same .But that is the prob like i said.Thats why its taking so long.So why not let the ones who will work on it have a easier time.If u dont care liek many others thin why is it bad to just add a x1.5 or x2?

Come now, it isn't all that hard to get to trade level 29, r5 crafts trading, and Caribbean port permit to do the Art Trader job change quest from Santo Domingo iirc and buy coral crafts at San Juan, Puerto Rico (not puerto pobre) iirc., comma splice, just watch out for naval blockades between Santo Domingo & Puerto Rico, although it doedn't help matters if Boston ENA waters is flipped lawless.

Then once you access Ärt Đealer art thesis at Boston, you can also do future such boston theses at Merchant Mediators at Genoa and other big cities and report completed boston theses at the same, not just at Boston.

Art Dealer boston theses can be done pretty quickly and repeatedly
via port hopping between Genoa & Pisa or between Amsterdam & Antwerp, all of which sell plenty of Textiles/Fabrics/Artworks/Crafts,
especially in conjunction with any combination of PO3s, Expert Trade Skills Manuals, Alchemist Robe EX, Trade Goods 3 Type Bargain 1/2 Oxford skills, equipment that add bonuses to Fibers, Fabrics, Artworks, & Crafts as well.

So much to do.  I'll help after my carib town gets metropolis status and ambon, ternate, aden, Lima all get up to scratch too.

I have no problem making with it being easier to get Boston leveled up. I just don't think it's a high priority for most.
I have done about 20 of the privateer thesis bit had moved on yo things I have found to be more pressing.

Would love to see grand Cayman developed enough to get dock space. Being able to hold an additional 5 ships is worth more to me than any Boston boost. The dock space is what allowed me to g6 all my ships on gama without having and using an alt at all.
