Hi all Dutch players. Just asking for everyone to help level up Wilemstad colony. Been there today and is sitting on 31000 av. across the board. Please help to get it over 40k please.

    Well that was great. Just been to Willemstad and since my last visit it has move a massive 4k. Now at 35k. Obviously nobody give a dam about developing these colonies. Fine. I'll move on to something else.

    Having the same problem with grand Cayman.
    It is sitting at 27k

    You need to get a group together to do it, just like what Gazi did for developing Ottoman.

    We from RE spend 2-3 days just just delivering items day in day out to get ours to the point we were happy with it.

    I don't think you should just 'expect' it to get developed.
    Hit up other dutch company leaders and ask if they can organize their company to help you develop :)

    As I don't know all things i'm asking if there are quests that can also be done to raise country colony levels or only contribs?

    At what development can we get the dock expansion at Willemstad?

    I’ve never taken advantage of that but wish to

    i think all 3 aspects(adventure,trade & maritime) need to be over 40k

    I am envious of your 37k. Grand Cayman is only at about 27k in each and I can't seem to drum up any support for. My fellow Englishmen.

    It is still better than Trujillo (Spain). They don't even have 20k.
    The French already got Cayenne over 40k for months now.

    Willemstad is up to at least 38500. Probably it will be a Central Colony in a week or so.

    commerce is now over 40k. dropped sails earlier today, may have been enough to push armaments over 40k, not sure. About 39.6k on Adv. last time I was there.

    Many thanks to all those who have left comments on this matter and Greater praise to those who have helped push the levels higher. We all benefit from this and it has restored my faith in the Dutch UWO community.

    Willemstad is now over 40k, waiting for Monday for the upgrade.

    Willemstad is now a "Central Colony". Docks are now available at Willemstad for all Dutch players.
    Still need to increase the development level, by investment, to build some of the high-ended ships using Official Decks.

    If I stage a ship in the dock expansion and the dev falls below the required amount, will I be able to get my ship out?

    Yes - its just new players that cannot get it

    Yeah,once you get the dock slot you can't lose it

    Opened 2 docks on my dutch toons!

    Please note that it cost 50 patriot awards and 5m to get it.

    Your dock slot might get deactivated if you defect to another nation who doesn't have one. Need someone to confirm this though.
