GM's i just wanna say thank you for the work that's being done. The increased drop rate was an awesome idea, cause it's hard sometimes to find the stuff your looking for. And lets face it, no one wants to shout WTB for a week straight to get 1 item. But unfortunatly it's not working. The greed on this server is too rampant. I've talked with several who've spent a good bit on this ticket. And it seems the drops are very nice. But what i've also heard from these people who are getting these good drops is they aren't selling. Their intention is to hoard all the stuff they are getting til the price goes back up and then sell. So all the work your doing GM's to get more stuff available to server isn't working. I'm not sure what can be done to correct this so that way stuff is more available, but imo i think the bonus drop rates should be removed. No need to keep filling up alts with all the stuff just to sell later. So maybe reducing the amount of drops will help. Or lets at least try that for a while. And maybe then if it gets increased again, people will think and not be so greedy. Or here's a thought, just put all the uwc shipparts and uwc items like ssip/npc/dismantle in every ticket. So the rarity of those items stays low. If CIGP in every ticket price will stay low, if next 2-3 tickets no CIGP price goes up. So lets keep all those parts in everyticket so the price never goes up, and those parts stay at a reasonable price, and people have no need to hoard cause there's always more coming. Or maybe make multiple kinds of tickets, captain's ticket for Ships & Ship parts.

Another ticket for equipment and consumables.. or something in that direction, but keeping the valuable items in a fixed ticket would be a great idea.

I said it before and i still maintain the same stance... In order to prevent inflation, control hoarding, stabilize the economy and give ALL players an equal chance to make ships then ALL fs parts need to be sold in the item shop.
I also believe that all the ships should be sold in the item shop as well in a 'ship shop' section. However the ship shop would sell ships that have been released from past tickets, not the current ticket or future ones, those ships would be added after the tickets change up.

Honestly, that makes no sense, since then people would NOT buy tickets and just wait for SHIPS to be in the shop. This is the reason most buy Captain Tickets in the first place.

I do agree with ship parts in to be in the shop though.

What about having Gold, silver and bronze tickets?

Gold is say current new ticket
Silver is like last ticket
Bronze the ticket before

So basicly a 6 week cycle

@WalkerDePlank1 well, that's not entirely true. If they did a 'ship shop' there's 2 things that would happen. First they wouldn't necessarily put the ships right away in the shop (they would wait until chapter updates which average every 6-8 weeks) so you'd have to wait to get exactly the ship you want. Second the price in uwc would reflect the rarity of the ship ( some items like the champion pack costs over $50, a rare ship like SWJ could end up costing well over $100 in uwc) to get directly.
The contents of tickets should reflect the chapter releases more with items and gear orientated around the chapter. People have an insatiable need to 'have things first' so they would still be buying tickets to be the first to have the ships, yes they would be available again later but better to still be making sales off of them rather than not at all. So tickets would end up being a 'early grab' on ships for people. Also considering the potential cost of individual ships, it might be cheaper to luck out getting one in a ticket still.
Fact is that 2 weeks is just not enough time for people to get the items in the tickets, some don't log on during that time, others might need to wait longer to be able to afford. All ships should be available to everyone so this would at least allow others to still get ships they need in the game. Of course another possibility could be what fields suggested about having older tickets still available with his gold/silver/bronze idea.

I agree and do like the idea of

gold - silver - bronze ticket system. It's a great idea the papaya/koei should consider.
