This site may already be well known, but I just discovered it recently and wanted to share with the community. I hope it's OK to post this url here!

    Something
that concerns me about this site is the way they are charging donations
for the ex items master list and ship building tools, I realise many
hours have been put into the site, but if we all started charging for
the information will we still have a game left because no one would play
    it?

    @YunoAloe

    Yes!

For only $4,99 you get 'good' modplans for an ANG, MLTC and last BUT NOT LEAST the CE!

But hold on, there's a better bargain!
For $9,99 you do not only get the perks of the above mentioned extra's BUT you get access to a ship modplanner!
Modplanner might be outdated in the upcoming patches and free updates after are not guaranteed

    But it doesn't end there!
For just $19,99 you can get access to a list of all existing EX equipments THAT IS NOT TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE ELSE!
And again you get the access to the aforementioned extra's!!!!

You don't have to pay anything if you don't want to. There is a lot of information on there and some of it is easier to search through than Ivyro, Wiki or spreadsheets (in my opinion). The site seems to be more updated than Ivyro or the Wiki, and the UST is more up to date than uwotool.com. Anyways, if you guys don't want to use the site then no one is forcing you.

OMG, this is that gelsonluz website. He's that 3rd party reseller that tried to con people to paying for his 'ultimate ship building' site! Listen people, he's a parasite that is trying to sell Koei's trademarked/copyrighted material for PROFIT! I'd think that what he's doing on his site is illegal and against Papayaplay's TOS. He tried to claim that he only wants to help, but is obviously lying as his site is clearly NOT to help but to profit from. I'd like to know how Koei and their corporate Lawers would respond to find out that he's publicly selling their property for profit without their consent!

@schro69 I hope that you did 'just discover it'. I'd say that there's plenty information out there free and/or that you could find out in game from asking reliable people like the CA's. I wouldn't want to think that you were associated with it and are trying to promote it's use...

@purplepirate I have no association with this site. I've googled numerous things regarding UWO recently and this site was always top of the list and had the info I was looking for. I simply thought it was a good source of info and would share with the community. The UST on the site is also up to date with the new ships, (mostly) ship parts and correct numbers for grading while uwotool.com is not. However, apparently several people have a problem with this site and the guy running it. I didn't realize there was bad history here. Sorry I even started this thread.

@schro69 yes it is a good site for info, but the way he goes about charging people is wrong. What he should do is offer an up to date data site and tools free but have an 'optional' link for people to donate. If the site is informed and accurate as it does look pretty decent, then people would be more than happy to donate to the site. But on their own choice, and since $20 isn't much so i'm sure he'd have alot more positive usage and client base. But i guess it's really up to individuals to use it or not.

IMO the shipbuilding tool presents misleading information anyway. It gives plans a 'score' based on (according to the description) maxed stats. This is misleading because it implies using all fusion bonuses to do +stats is considered a 'good' plan. So, if I had say, a Cruise Light Clipper, and used the fusion bonuses to do say... Armour bonus, dura bonus and cabin bonus, is this a good plan? (There is a correct answer.)
It's alright, Ma, I'm only bored.

Dunno if I should post this but have been working on a new shipbuilding tool aswell, been heckin months now since I started working on it, keep hitting roadblocks and get demotivated to work on it xd
I feel like I'm close to finishing it but there are still some difficult parts that are not easy to make..

All I can share atm is the design as there isn't anything working live yet.

In all honesty, why fix something that isn't broken? UWOtool still exists and is still brilliant.

It is awesome and I'm grateful to the developer of it! The problem is that it's not updated. The new ships are not in there, it's missing ship parts/armaments and the grading/upper limit calculations are incorrect.

UWO tool is great for what it does. If only it had every ship on it. But what we really could use is a sortable spreadsheet with the MAX stats listed for each ship. And I mean every ship, not 1 out of every 3.

Okay, this has convinced me to return to the development of my SB Tool.
IT'll take a while as the biggest issue isn't development, it's data entry.
I can do this in my off time at work but please everyone be patient.
