Game doesn't start

Hello,
I recently got back into UWO, but the problem is I installed the game fine and updated, but the game doesn't start after clicking start game on the client.  It shows the GameGuard, the  disappears and nothing happens.

I already ran compatibility troubleshoot and it says its an Incompatible Program and it just can't fix itself.

However, whenever I restart my computer and immediately run UWO, it actually starts fine, so to actually play, I would have to restart my computer and run the game immediately.  After I close the game and try to reopen it, it doesn't work and needs me to restary again.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I'm running 64 bit, win 10 laptop.

*I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, disabling antivirus and all those predictable solutions the techs have given, they don't solve anything.

Something like happens for my tablet too, never for desktop (which has GeForce 980). This tends to happen when it is low on ram (when I have browser in background to UWO) and/or when I tab-untab UWO too often. Maybe shiftwindow software will help, I'm gonna try it.
Also make sure it is closed properly, it is not usually displayed in process list due to antihack, you'll have to catch it there. When you try to run a third simultaneous instance, this happens too.

I had that same issue when I first installed UWO. It would work if I started it up immediately after a reboot or shut down, but if I quit and came back to it later, it would just load to the GameGuard screen and nothing else would happen. It turned out my anti-virus had flagged GameGuard as a potential threat and blocked it from running. I know you said you tried disabling your antivirus but in my case, simply disabling it wasn't enough because it would still run hidden in the background. And UWO would refuse to launch without GameGuard running. What I had to do is put C:\Program Files (x86)\Papaya Play\* (or wherever else you installed UWO at) in the exceptions/exclusion list so the anit-virus would ignore that file path. Try that and see if that works rather then just disabling it.

If that doesnt work, as YunoAloe said, it might be a RAM issue. Internet browsers take up a surprising amount of RAM usage, especially if you have multiple tabs running. Try closing off your internet browser or at least only keep one or two tabs on.
