Pirating

I haven't had much time to play UWO lately (several months to be honest).  With the changes in pirating rules I have read about I see no mention of changes to where pirating can be practiced.  Is Europe still safe for instance?  Do blue flags still protect you?

    No real changes to piracy. Just item plunder is back and the time a pirate can't reattach someone is only 1 hour instead of 24n this change is temporary though.
