optimization for 4 processor cores

have been more than 10 years and can not optimize the game to use 4 nucelos of the processor, I have a core 2 quad q8400 of 2.66 ghz and I can not play well there are fps slumps in rooms of 4vs 4 I go to 60 80 fps and what to say 8vs 8 less than 50 fps is impossible to play this way, when optimize the game to use 4 nucelos of the processor, I even have a new pc amd fx 8350 and equal lag continues with this processor but other games like counter strike GO I'm going to love 60 fps in rooms of 166 players and with high graphics, but this warrock game has a huge graphic lag. Please optimize the game

    As you mentioned: The game is 10+ years old and never has been optimized for multicore use.
    Why should they do it now?

    Exactly! There is no reason. Nobody wastes ressources to optimize a dying game. Despite that Dream Execution never cared about that topic and they certainly will not start now.
