Has anyone gotten any rewards from the current historic event ?

What exactly do we have to do to get them ?

I supported with 1m and got nothing.

    heya,

For this historical event, merchanting is involved aka support through investment. The progression depends how much you support your candidate through investment and I can tell it is quite a lot (may even take 1000m to get the chest).

For more info how you can do support in efficient way, see my video:

You get the historical Event rewards in your receive-item of the bank and the bank clerk will notify whenever there is a reward from this particular Event.

I hope this will give you a better vision ^^

    Kind Regards,

    ty for the answer.

Its just as I feared - just hand in ducats.

Events dont get lamer than this - a 100% pay to win event - literally.

Politics have been 'pay to win' since politics were invented. Although, since the in game currency is what is being paid, and it's possible make billions of it without spending a bit of real money, then it's not really 'pay to win' at all. It's more like 'play to win'.

For 1 million ducats, which you probably made in a couple of hours at most, you say you got nothing. That's not true. If your guy wins, then you'll get the beneficial effects of his victory. Players who don't back the winning horse get nothing.

Emperor Election tend to happen once in four months which is for merchants plenty of time to save up money. In four months you can make 5b at ease through spice/nanban. This historical Event is an exception though and even broke the influence period of the last election T_T

There is a limit how many times you can invest due to support permits. You can either save them up to have advantage for the next election or use them right away to make it to the top 10 for court advisor. You can invest up to 100m each time (only if one of your trade skill is R20).

In short, unlike regular investment, you've to play here smart to make your investment more effective that can save your costs. There is at least some strategy involved which someone with huge UWC spending can't fend off. ^^
