Checklist before getting chart to new school

General Discussion
  • Talk to your guild master twice
  • exit the guild hall
  • talk to Shipyard Master at Shipyard
  • talk to Market keeper at Market
  • Enter every Guild hall
  • Talk to your guild's mediator
  • Take "First Job in ____"Quest from mediator
  • Go to Port (Harbour)
  • Set Sail
  • Finish the quest, go back to the mediator and turn it in
  • Exit the Guild hall (you should get more chart and "rumor about training school" dialogue if you do previous things right)
  • Take Liner to the school

    This. Make sure to follow steps and do not take rumor about training school yet because if you do then you will have to unlock rest of Europe that based on your fame. Oh, maritime quest called [Nation] Navy Drill since it doesn't have 1st job.

    Sorry, but your steps are vague, and therefore, confusing.
    For instance, what city's guild masters, shipyards, & marketkeepers is one supposed to talk to? In which city?
    What if "First Job in _____" Quest doesn't show up in adventurer mediator quest list in your starting city? Which city are you supposed to go to just to even pull up said "First Job in ______" quest in the first place?
