Peak hours?

Does anyone have an idea when the most players are online? (include your timezone if you got any answers :p)

Also where are most of you guys from IRL? EU/NA/Asia?

EU here :)

GM Sayuri back on OGP said 9 am- 1am pst

From my best auction times…  I say 5pm est - 9pm est everyone home from school or work at that time

    Weekends all day

    Holidays  low population those days

Matter fact now that I think about itbthe peak times are VERY similar to the peak times at the planet fitness gym except instead of working out getting gains they glued to the computer screen :P

I find 5pm - around 10pm Prime time for me, times in GMT where Im from.

I think for me it seems EU is the peak timezone, 10pm would be around Midnight Russian time so dips through the night a bit.

But I find a lot of multiplayer games just the same with these times, so it's not just a UWO thing

There are services like https://steamcharts.com/app/317110 or https://steamdb.info/app/317110/graphs/ which used to be more useful when UWO was on steam, however I can't find any that would store detailed hourly data for back then, it currently shows something very averaged. From my experience, the peak time has no great difference, especially considering how many people afk, but judging by merchant chat activity, it feels like EU & east US evenings (combined) have more activity. I'm in Europe. Probably more people from Asia were playing back in the days.

if 5pm-10pm in Europe, that would be approximately 12noon-5pm USA EDT (where I live), which may explain a lower UWO Maris server population when I finally get home from work by around 7pm USA EDT,
    ...
lower server population circa 7pm-12midnight USA EDT ...
... shhhh, easy pickings for adventuring discoveries.

It used to be 24-hour. I had a full day constant pvp on a weekday during year 2013.

Since then population declined. First the Chinese left, then the Japanese, then the European. In 2017, it was mainly just US players left.

Not sure about now, but i can hardly imagine any improvement made over the last status quo in 2017

Why the population declines? And despite more & more content added over time, why did Chinese, Japanese, & Europeans leave English-language UWO server over years 2013-2017?

Bad management. Biased enforcement and fabrication of rules keeping the player base continually pissed off caused it.
