Is it forbidden to group more than 3 toons

I love UWO so I invited my wife to play with me. My wife and I are playing 4 toons together, which means my wife and I play 2 toons per person. My friends told me to do not group together for more than three toons especially to do the Nanban trading because it is forbidden and my account will be forbidden. Thus, I wanna know can I group with my wife for playing two toons each one?

    it's ok to fleet with your friends/family. Just 'try' not to use more than 3 accounts on the same ip. If you really want to make sure you're ok, try playing with 1 toon each (if you are going to play together anyways). If you are playing in a group then you really shouldn't need to use alts anyways as you can complement eachothers skills. :)

    A fleet of 5 doing trading can be easily misread as multi gold farming fleet of 5, and may be reported and banned by mistake.

    So do not form fleet of 5 unless you are playing maritime or adv.

    Use a VPN or a different provider for the other computer.

    @YunoAloe answer may be the only safe solution for you however, i think its more the behavior what gives brainless multis away

    1. DO NOT spend your whole in-game time on follow 
    2. avoid similar names on all your chars
    3. try to participate in the world chats now and then so people get used to the idea that you are an actual person.
    i would say those would keep most reports away since people feels less inclined to actually hurt a player that interacts with them as opposed to a silent drone always on private.

    Easiest solution is for people with alts to just not fleet with people with alts.

    Over the past year I've seen threads get made by people playing with friends and being banned (by what sounded to be some kind of automatic system papaya put in effect). The common denominator in all those cases was when a person fleeted with a friend but still had alts they were using in said fleet.

    When playing with friends, the smart thing to do imo is to park the alts and just use your mains. Otherwise there's gonna be some risk factor involved that probably isn't worth it.

    not so sure if VPN use may be a violation of TOS,thus would not recommend using one

    in fact tou and your wife both playing 2 toons equals 4 from same ip thus a violation.so not a good idea

    as TOS limits us to 3 toons per ip

    regardless of whether you are fleeted or not

    VPN works it is illegal though AND they can tell if you're using it. I remember a lot of people being banned for using it on OGP.

    As far as fleets yes there has been some friendly fire bannings before by fleeting with people running multis box over 3 toons.

    As far as families playing in same house they let you rock as long as you don't fleet seems fair...

    Lol yeah fuck me right? Asking to play without alts, might as well be the same as asking someone to do nanban in a Barca.

    My husband and I both play but if one of us wants to sign an alt in to exhange stuff etc we ask to make sure the other doesnt have two online.  So yes playing 2 each at the same time can get you banned.  Especially noticable if all fleeted together too.    Doesnt seem fair but allowing it would open the door to all the multi-abusers out there.

    You may use mobile connection for additional 3 toons.

    I tested during papaya relaunch that mobile connection has a different IP address every time you turn it on.

    That’s how you legitimately run 5 toons on two computers.

    To summary, everyone need a fair playing environment. I ask this question because you can see many players play three toons in game. I would feel unfair If I got banned for playing two toons just because I group with my wife.

    @Katanauwo if its a single person running those 5 chars, that's not "legitimately run" but more like complete disregard for the rules.

    Hmm it's not like 1st time anyway because several players got banned because they had family to play together too.Ah I remember that incident ,so hasn't anyone seen Clemsonfan ?. I recalled his son got banned that caused him pissed off.
