Lost discoveries

Hello
I've been finding that discoveries are disappearing from my list of
discoveries. For example, I just tried to go to Byblos but was denied
entry. I checked my historical site discoveries and found Byblos
missing. Byblos Outskirts is still listed as charted in my charts menu,
so I definitely had access to it. I haven't done any of the few in-game
activities that can result in losing a discovery card. I am also missing
the Paris discovery and who knows what others. Has anyone else experienced this?
