rare goods let down

I tried to do 2 diff rare goods last night American catfish and worms both marked at high.
catfish 2.5k food
worms 600D med

i went out of my way to try ones people would probly not do and got so little vs people doing spice from palma to liz and making 4k+
thinking it would have higher pay out longer sailing time  but getting next to nothing .

are all fish/collected/pro goods trash when it comes to rare goods.
I wanted to make a build around this and its a bust if they make less thin normal trade even wile marked at high.

    I think Japanese somethingsomething fish is worth ~15k in the Red Sea ports atm, and you can litterally fish that fish in the Red Sea itself

    all rare goods can afaik be sold for the same in all non nanban ports not selling the specific good.

    prices go up and down depending on all sales of the goods in the world.
