Everchanging Saint Quest Help?

General Discussion
Ends inside Cathedral in St. Petersburg. 
supposely in front of an icon of St. Christopher.. Perception of Artisan says there is something around here.
No yellow marker, so I tried Search R15 at every picture in the Cathedral about 30 different locations and nothing.  Any hints?

    What a retarded quest.. I ended up doing a grid pattern to find it..  searched another 40 locations.. in a grid pattern before I found it..

    Said it before I'll say it again...


    UWO is NOT and will never be something as simple as just a "sailing game".  UWO is a game of Discovery! Always has been always will be.

    Back on OGP a similar thing happened to me in st. Petersburg with a geo quest. I was suppose to view a lake from the city but couldn't find the right spot (observe) wouldn't show spot only that it was near by. After 2 hours of searching everywhere and asking in WC, i ended up giving up on the quest lol.

    This is the kind of  frustration that discourages players from continuing.
    No quest should require 2 hours of searching, or the creation of a grid to find the spot.
    There needs to be a way for players to get help before they decide to give up on the quest, and maybe the game as well.
    Maybe they could be told to go to the Archives, and look for an old map of the area which would show the right spot.

    Try using my google docs ... has the links to all the discoveries.

    In your case, the Japanese link (auto translates with Google Chrome) says:

    4 〃 immediately after entering the cathedral search to the right to find a way to hit the right 

    If you send the japanese characters to the google translator it says:
    4 //     Just after entering the cathedral, you will see the end (mark) to the right along the wall

    Walker's materials are superb -- I have been saved by them more than once (especially when a search of ivyro came up empty). Today, I did an adventure quest that advised me to go north of the 'eastern coast' of Scandinavia. Walker's stuff showed that I really needed to go north of the western coast (after sailing to the Baltic and looking around for nothing). I am reminded of patersmith66's dilemma, however: once in the correct sea, perception items proved useless -- giving the 'nothing out of the ordinary' message. I sailed to coordinates found in Walker's doc, and was able to complete the quest.
