Hello,

Are you planning on a project? ESL MODE? We really need this one for ESL players. Because not everybody plays fair like stamina medic box etc.. And there are some players who do not know what it means ESL weapons. We need ESL Mode 1-4 slots ESL guns and Default Characters with ESL MAPS

The question is why we need ESL MODE? because as I said no one plays fair in ESL ROOMS even room name called ESL they start playing STAMINA HP_KIT MEDIC_BOXES etc and SKINS and there is newcomers don't know what is ESL RULES

So I hope you are working on this project guys So we can create ESL ROOMS

I am also sure after this project all ESL players will back to this game. Because we got bored about that.

Agreed. There should be an option to disable slots 5-8 to make the game more challenging.

Not sure about the selection of weapons ESL had in the past. Needs to be looked into again imo.
Skins don't matter anymore since there is major advantage anymore.

And maybe rename it into something that doesn't involve another compagny.

I'd say name it: "Classic Mode" or "Advanced Mode" or something like that.

@distortion Yes, But no, the skin is important because it still has stats. So it should be off skins even they are balanced the skins.

^ Of course not. :( They are afraid to nerf AW50F even after big vote and lose of many players who get tired of being killed by this joke gun in every map. Death cam still on which is some serious brain fart. Pay to win game and always will be. You will see more stupid costumes and gun packages next year aswell. Same song every year people hoping they come to senses, but nope.

Imagine if the kids would need to play without Famas, DBR Snake, P90, AW50F..

Players who, after all those years of hardships and broken hopes and dreams, finally left Warrock do and will not return to Warrock. They spent and clinched to every last flicker of hope before they ultimately reached that point of enough is enough.

And each year there is a new "ESL is the shit and we need it to return to Warrock"-idea and each and every year nobody except the same few people gives a *peep* about it.

Warrock has far to few players left to be able to have a room option that rules out those few who keep the game alive by paying for stuff. So unless you ask for a premium users only ESL-option nobody will even half heartedly consider it.

Anyways...

@v0nndutch Yes and I don't understand why they don't want this ESL MODE what will happen! If they do this they will not lose anything.

@Nuffiii Yeah, Let's hope why not as we hope to fix the biggest problems such as Overclock and they fixed it :) And they are doing a good job. BTW don't forget this company took the game a year ago you should be more patient and don't lose hope, my friend ^^ Merry Christmas u2 ;)

Hi Corvantes, thank you and all others who have read and posted on this topic.

Over the past few months, as we know, the WarRock section of ESL has been removed from the ESL website. This was due to inactivity of the players.

What we would like to see (as Papaya Play), is a proactive attitude from the ESL.eu moderators by opening up the WarRock section of ESL.eu again. Once this is done, all sorts of collaboration between ESL and Papaya can be done, such as in the sponsoring of tournament prizes, in-game promotion (like for example weapon skins were made in the past) etc. This would create a positive atmosphere for everyone who wants to play ESL, because he/she can easily find players who also want to partake in the ESL rule set. This cannot be achieved by allowing players to enforce their rules upon other players, such as by the ability to create rooms and add limitations to slots or weapons. Having new features in-game, as you know, requires work from our developer Dream Execution, which is valuable time that we rather save for other projects that benefit the community as a whole, such as game optimization and weapon balancing, and of course (past projects) such as a working anti-cheat and active monitoring of cheating.

Because of these two important reasons (time and the 'splitting' of the playersbase) we will not be implementing any of these special modes into the game in the near future. It could be that later, when for example the ESL website is working again, we might organize ESL based events ourselves, but new game-features or changes to current room options is currently an unrealistic option.

We (as Papaya Play) hope to see the ESL site active again in the future, so we can work together on keeping the community active and fun for all participants.

@[HGM]Skateboard I did not mean that ESL MODE should be in two months or more. Well, now focus on the important stuff and fix all the known bugs and improve the game more. And yeah then we can talk about it. But at least this ESL MODE must be in-game 1-4 slots & without skins. Even if ESL did not return to the game again or ESL will return to the game again because it will be more competitive gameplay. And it's also a good idea for anyone who wants to become an ESL player to play in this ESL MODE and become stronger. After this, we will not see flame anymore and there will be no cheating like using STAMINA HP_KIT etc. So we can create ESL rooms and it will be fair. Trust me ESL MODE will be fun. Anyway, I hope ESL War Rock will be back soon.

Actually quite satisfying to hear that an ESL-room option is unrealistic and not part of the plans for Warrock.

An option that allows non paying customers to rule out the paying ones, thus those who keep the game alive, should and can not be considered. The only realistic way to get an ESL-room option seems to be making it 100% premium only (incl. premium to join those roooms). An option that rules out paying customers can only be allowed if those who use it are paying customers themselves.

Anything else would nothing but an antisocial "Thanks for allowing me to play for free while you pay and now get the f*ck out"-option.

Don't forget: Warrock has far to few players left to even think of treating their paying players like shit.

First we need a boost in the playerbase(which Steam might help with) before Papaya should implement something like that. I have played ESL for a very long time and i really vouch for a 'ESL mode' option in rooms. It makes tactics and teamplay so much more important (required to win rounds). Right now WarRock isn't really a teamgame anymore. Assaults shouldn't be able to heal, also medics shouldn't be able to throw nades. It takes away the importancy and difference of the classes.

But right now there are only 2-3 rooms with ESL players a day, so that would be a waste of time in my opinion.

First WarRock needs a playerboost first for this to work. Don't understand me wrong, i have played ESL for a long time and i really want it back.

@Nuffiii You have a point there. But, that ESL rules makes the game much more tactical and requires so much more teamplay to win. For example; an assault shouldn't be able to heal himself, and a medic shouldn't be able to have nades. Right now classes are a bit useless and not important.

If the classes only have the right weapons and accessories what they're meant for, it requires the right tactics to win a round. At the moment, every room is filled with assaults with famas's and medic kits. And everyone just runs around without thinking.

This game wants to build its player base with new players yet expects new accounts to mix in rooms with long term players where they are forced to play against accounts costing thousands. Accounts equipped with every PX item and every stat only possible by spending large amounts of money and this is deemed to be fair and competitive.

I have joined other games in the past where there is a paywall and have never lasted long because i do not want to spend money when first trying out a game and being crushed by someone who has a massive advantage due to a paywall is not FUN.

Battle royal is free to play. A player buying premium has ZERO outcome on the game. Its a game mode and the more game modes players have the option of choosing the better. But wait... "we dont want splitting of the player base" Yet you add another game mode NO one asked for.

Unsure why this game is so against any type of competitive game play where everyone is equal and the only outcome is the persons skill rather then there bank balance and how much they spent that month.

@prayno totally agree with you that the classes are senseless right now and poorly designed. But this actually is a BG-problem where useless classes are much more a real problem.

ESL rules are nice but they do not solve the problem of players being forced to field useless weapons. Creating an option that just forces everybody to use those guns does not solve the problem of unbalanced guns, items and vehicles (Most ESL-guys tend to forget that room options should solve Warrock- problems not only CQC-problems) you are forced to deal with when playing.

So if you want to strengthen the competitive level of the game anything except taking the game from now and getting this game balanced is senseless. ESL is nothing but "hey, let's ignore the present state of the game and pretend it is still in the condition when it got released".

I've been hearing this ESL chatter for over 11 years now.
90% of the people who advocate this have not even experienced the active times of Warrock in the ESL.
It's quite simple:
If you want to play like this, why can't you do it through the ESL site?
Form a Warrock section again and play as you like.
Why do I have to introduce a game mode?
The ESL section of Warrock was not dissolved without reason.
No old gamers will come back because of this honk mode.
Years ago the BG mode was a guarantee for great nights.
What is today?
When I got to know and love Warrock the BG mode was full.
In my 1st clan we were about 50 people.
And every provider after K2 aka G1 destroyed the game more and more.
And no ESL mode will change that.
