UWO Players with kids..how do you manage?

Serious question...I know a lot of the players here have kids some of you even have multiple kids and even some of you are brand new moms and STILL PLAY.

My question is how the hell do you guys manage? I mean as soon as I put down my son he cries, I pick him up he cries until he eats or you rock him to sleep. Even when he falls asleep if I put him down he wakes up and cries.

I used to land battle so its almost impossible to do that with one hand and another holding a baby so I know its even harder to sea battle.  Am I missing something or is it that players with kids arent maritiming but instead are full-time traders or full time SB'ers basically activities with no need for intense focus.

Whats the deal as Id like to know how you manage...thx

    No particular good solution. You gotta prioritize!

    I once had to skip ESF twice in a row to be with my son.

    The way kids look at UWO is that it robs their Daddy Mummy away for god knows how long.

    If you have young babies, hardcore playing is no longer fpr you.

    Get a bouncy chair you can bounce with you foot or one of the battery powered swings ( side to side swing worked great for my son).

    Give them a cheap tablet and put some easy games on it:)

    Domina had to quit UWO because she had twin babies. Lisette ,ex-my company member, had to quit because she now had to watch her kids when her husband got new jobs.

    Tbh, playing UWO might be issue for you if you have baby or under err 6 years old children because they're prone to get rambunctious that often cause parents must watch them so that they won't get lost or hurt. Once the children start to attend school, you should able to play UWO even though you may want to stop playing after they get home.

    Where's the dad in all this? Shouldn't he be helping you and giving you a break sometimes? God know's all mothers deserve a break from time to time...

    Congratulations, CPC.  I am so sorry I have not been keeping up with the forums or chat, as they still depress me.  I am glad that you and your son are doing well.  I can't offer any advice as I made it to 60 with no kids.  However I am amazed that a 6 year old Grand Nephew can work a tablet better than I can.  His Mom (my neice) stole my Super Nintendo for his older brother and the two of them love it.  Crazy_Psyco_Son will be holding auctions before you know it.  I returned because Daren was heartbroken, and because of the boosts.  I am almost restored to before the wipe with my 5 main toons, one of which is a BH / Scout/ Agent, with high rowing, that is hungry to get some Payback.  Love you, CPC.  All my mains use guns and bows, in your honor!

    i gave my kid to adoption so i can play UWO in peace


    *he was 25, his GF adopted him

    My daughter is 17 months old. I only play while she sleeps, mostly in my arms, so I often can't type chat and am limited to one hand. This makes PVP virtually impossible. I have shifted from maritime to more adventure and land battle. Lot of dungeons. Lot of autonaving. Bring tributes everywhere, warn comp mates that you will afk without warning when the crying starts. Prioritize: child first, then game, then sleep.

    @CCP Thanks for the well wishes! I hope all is well with you! Im so glad you got your swagger back! I knew you could I always believed you could you are a grinding goddess Im very proud of you!!

    @noahthemutt Yeah thats what I figured appears you have to really change your game play up. Like Auctions I used to run 3 hours or more...with my son going berserk I barely can get 10 or 15 mins before Id have to stop and that would piss off my clients...I may have to resort to being an auto naving nanbanner or SB'er or maybe come up with some new event I dont know :(

    @Nellemus  I didnt know you had kids thats awesome. Unfortunately my son dont sleep he just cries, poops and sucks the skin off my candy apples :(

    @Culvern you wiiiiiild lol. I wanna duct tape him but ACS would lock me up so fast and I dont wanna toss salads in the pin so thats out I tried passifiers but he just spits it out in my face  and the swing I got him costed 350 bucks! And he cried everytime I put him in it

    @katanauwo Well youre right I guess just have to play sparingly I have to re evaluate how I play to make use of the small 10 to 15 min windows of play as it stands now I cant even open my laptop before he turns up hes the cutest baby ever but hes a terror!

    @Lyon  wow I had no idea Dom had twins wow that explains it and I cant blame her its hard work...i'll try to play sparingly but if my son dont chill dafuq out when I play I may have to quit...

    @makasouleater69 he 2 months old he cant lift a tablet unfortunately...

    @purplepirate hes here but he works so when he get home he sleeps then I have the little terror all day and night :(


    I hope it gets better I dont want to quit but I dunno...guess life forces us to...grow up :/
