What is WR like nowadays?

Hi all,

I started playing warrock around 2007 and quit right before the game was transferred to papayaplay.

I sometimes still miss playing warrock and was thinking about trying it again. However, I was wondering what the game is like at the moment;

I read wr ph joined our community, are there multiple rooms (cqc and bg) and enough variety to choose from or is it just 1 or 2 pages with a few rooms?

When I quit the game became more and more pay2win, is this still the same or is it quite balanced now? (i've seen there have been quite some balance updates)

What is the lag situation like? Do you still get shot through walls, people spotwalking, etc...

And of course... the FPS issues this game has (hopefully had?) I play on 144hz monitors so if it's not possible to play on (stable) 144fps I am not interested in coming back. Is it possible to play on 144fps or do you still have 30 fps with an insane gaming pc?

WR PH joined the community but are playing on another server. You can't join the S.E.A. Server, and they can't join the Global Server.

Overall, Papaya balanced the game quite good in my opinion. Like you stated they balanced a lot already and are doing more balances in the future. They also have been fixing bugs in certain maps.

What I experience with the lagg depends on whom I'm playing with. If I play against European players, I do not experience any lagg. However this is not the same when I play against South American players, unfortunately.

On the FPS issue I can't really tell you anything about that because I do not have any issues, so I can't tell you if it's solved for you or not.

Overall, you should give it a try :-)

I would say you just need to play for a day to really see for yourself to see if it is something you want to get back into! I can say there has been a lot of improvements and I am sure more to come.

To be completely honest, the little activity on the forum is a bit concerning to me. Before downloading the game again, what is the activity ingame like? Are there multiple rooms/gamemodes to choose from or is it just 1-2 pages in cqc and a few rooms in BG?

1-2 page haha, there are days when i count of a total of 14 gamer spred out in 10-11 room, most of them playing solo AI game, or freekilling in closed game

U make a room and room have a tendency to close down do to inactivity after 20 min, cause no one enter the room :)

There are less hackers but do to only there are much less gamer, for example old times was 1,5-3 million active gamer, now there is days when in peek time u can count up to 400 gamer!

Turks warp all around map, run over walls so ON but all is OK they "just lagg" :), also do to their so called lagggg can take up 2-3 amo clipp before they die even the afk turks, germans not as bag "laggers" but effect the same, u die from 1 hit from any gun, they warp over full houses buildings or one base to the next one in a milisecundum, or they just lagspawning on your back evry time, like they are stuck there :)

Today first game i entered a tank killed 2 gamer then got headshoted out my nice tank, turk kid say "no hack just lag" so it is totaly OK, then he took my tank and headshoot with it 2 of my ally, only lag no problem :)

Plant 3 landmine hummer no die "just lag no hack", plant 4 in 1 place no die just lag... finaly i found out his criptonite plant 2 times 3 total of 6 on same place and BUMM killed him, and get kicked by team saying i killed immortal lagger so i must be a hacker!

U would think if u kill a hacker turk sorry a lagger turk team will be happy, but in reality it is the opposite......

Map skillpointer: they kill your tank with 2 rocket no amo used, u need 5 rocket + none stop fire with tank gun to kill them so game is f ed up :)

Map rampart? i need on some turk 10-11- up to -18 rocket to kill their def tank while i die from 5 hit even if they not direct hit just plash damage :)

Tank heal 1 hp/sec but on some gamer even in 5 vs them u cant kill it do to HP regeneration rate out of the chart, u damage 20% / hit 5 gamer shoting it u would think ok max 2 shoot and he down but no, he has time to kill all with out manuvering or using cover, it is just "pro gamer and lag" ---GM team made a statemant there is no more OVC and problem solved, now when u see a hacker who has ovc u need to say it is just lag, or it is OK he is a turk :)

Most OVC hacker "just a lagger" as many time GM told us it is just lag, HGMPain was a big suporter of this so called laggers, finally he got remuved from WR team do to his neglect and do to his racism do to cristians, many topic was oppened about him so WR GODs finally fired him :)

Stealth games ruined by dumbster clan they use dash hack chariot skin so on, but they say it is just a bug and they also have a Gm suport so after 40-50 report on same kid he get ban morning and few hours laterthey unbanned and still using chariot skin and HP + dask skill from fogy mod + unlimited SP skill from BR

Lots of lv1 gamer prefire prekill u hide they know where u are, stop all time front of your mines and back up like theyknow where it is... it is just a little bit of lag.....

Yeah no problem! No I think a lot of people dont check the forums and some choose not to use the forums as much as it used to be. We have things like discord now where it is pretty active with people asking questions and using it to communicate. At peak we normally on average see about 6-10 pages of rooms in CQC

6-10 pages ??? do u mean under peak time the year of 2012???? NOW IT IS 2019 :)

Todaz the most page was total of 5 from cqc+bg+ai combined and even this was a suprise, that 2 page of AI amped up the numbers :)
