Easter eggs and other things found in the game

Hi! I wanted to know if they hid any easter eggs or hidden features, historical references or any other things that they keep secret. I'm sure they do, but I never was able to find any info on google about it.     Easter eggs...ummmm


    Well one of the original pirates from the Nintendo games is in this one Iden Leis 

    Ummm...Heavenly Sword Crest was not designed by Koei but rather a player named StacieRae   who won a crest design contest.

    Thats all i got 4 now if I remember more i'll post it

    Mercator
    Mercator makes an appearance in this game too he is from New horizons for Snes and he asks you chart the seas for him.  The cartographers guild is gone in this guild its replaced by Mercator...which i was disappointed because in the original gsme you could sign a contract with mercator then go behind his back and sign another with the guild pissing him off lol.

    Blue Crescent Blade
    A number of swords appear in this game from the original game one being Blue Crescent Blade which is also the weapon Guan Yu used in the three kingdoms era...which Koei also made a game about called Romance of the 3 kingdoms. Go figure :P

    Atlantis Origins
    In New Horizons Uncharted Waters Joao Franco main quest was to find the lost city of Atlantis.. If you played the game you will find there was no Atlantis...but there was "Neo-Atlantis" :( .   This was not Atlantis at all.  Needless to say people were disappointed there was no Atlantis to be found and complained as it seemed the whole quest to find it was wasted. Koei heard the players frustration and put a PROPER Atlantis in this game with advanced tech and design and needing a special way to get there.  So the Atlantis you know and love is the result of people whining...thank you whiners lol

    Thank you! I never found this stuff on the internet, so thanks for telling me! Also that Iden Leis who pretends to be a "Dutch Battle Fleet" I hate.

    Actually I found one! The opening song we all know is the opening song to uncharted waters 1 (not new horizons, the one with leon franco) is the same one made by yoko kano.

    Oh nice! I think my dad still has his original for the sega genisis. I'll have to dig it up sometime and listen :)
