Antarctica-is it there?

General Discussion
Ive been told that this continent is not a feature in the game, but is it? If it is, is it pirate infested? And how do I get a Port Permit for it? Some questions I have.

    You can go far enough north or south and you'll run into a solid ice mass. There's no supply/ports in either of them yet (as far as i know). Maybe in a future expansion we'll see Koei make something in the artic/antartic. I think it would be cool to see a frozen land area that we could explore/map.

    Not sure about the south seas, but in the north you can get Northwest passage permit from Mercator.

    Yes it's in Russia-and quick question off topic-whats in a supply port?

    a supply port is a port that you can dock/change ships/restock but there no city or land area that you can go into.
