Time to hunt boosts

So we have this new event to kill the leviathan. It's a great addition which gives more of a legend element to the game. One strange thing though, they gave temporary skill boosts to help fight the creature but how are melee boosts suppose to help? You can't melee the leviathan lol. Also is the levi affected by mines? Minelaying was another skill boosted ffor the hunt. Thirdly is the speed boost only in SoW or does it affect all sailing in game?

I got my crest for our kill last night but didnt get a nation flag. How do we follow what the levi kill count is at?

    I don't sea battle. But it would be cool to see what the kill count is for the server and how many kills for the people that do it (Top ten list or something)

    lol as soon as I post this, I see there is a top ten list. Oops

    I don't see a total kills so far, but 1 out of 2 is not bad.

    the count is on the first page of the site however, when i made the post for the week prior the count remained at 13/1. That's why I asked (maybe the official count was somewhere else). But later that same night they updated it. It's good to know that papaya reads the posts to keep on top of things :)
