...but South Pacific / Australia / Oceania became lawless waters for the first time that I know of since I began playing Uncharted Waters Online back in mid 2013. Not sure if that ever happened before May 2013.

    I do remember there was a player in GAMA who used to do piracy mostly in Pacific areas around 2016-2017. I forgot the name fully before... What I can guess is that this player did returned and started piracy there again. x_x

    It's extremely rare, but it has happened before a couple times in the past. There was one instance where Nellemus was found to have farmed his alt(s) for notoriety points over in Australia, which made it turn lawless. Since nobody really goes over there (and this was before the broker information on pirates and BHs wad added), it was an ideal place to hide from any BHs and possibly being reported.
