I don't think papayaplay has anything to do with this, nor steam... They're doing their best to get rid of cheaters and its greatly appreciated but they really need to get a better hack detector.

The current GameGuard appears to be a simple blacklist scanner, checking for specific programs and killing off the game if they're found. Piss poor. Circumventing it is as simple as obfuscating whatever it uses to fingerprint programs, which would be trivially easy, or even simply writing a custom program.

It happens in multiple game's even high rank's are cheating, it's at critical right now

Hi Samuruai.

I agree with you that having people IP-banned could decrease the amounts of cheaters 'Temporarily', but lets stop for a second and see the downsides of applying such a punishment;

1. First of all its a temporarily solution as I mentioned because they will eventually create a new account and come back, so that won't be too useful.

2. Let's not forget that in some countries, specially in Europe and the Middle-East, such as Egypt and Romania, ISPs tend to use dynamic IPs due to not having enough IP ranges to cover all their customers, so if someone and his neighbor restarted their router/modem at the same time while they're using the same ISP, there's a possibility for them to exchange IPs, so IP banning can cause a lot of issues and getting legit players banned which will make the situation worst.

From my perspective, instead of looking for an efficient method to ban players, we need to look for an efficient way to stop the main issue, --- Cheats ---, and having a better game guard!

nProtect is doing nothing, as I mentioned before, it sounds like its some type of a simple blacklist scanner, which is not very helpful.

At the end of the day, I believe they're working hard to find a solution right now because the game is not even playable, for us normal players nor the GameMasters, so its a bit serious. Be patient.

Hi guys,

First of all once again we sincerely apologize for the current hacking problems. The GM Team is doing their best and we once again apologize if it is not enough... we really do.

I would also like to once again thank to all of you for your patience and especially for the huge support/help that you have been giving to us and continue to do so by reporting all the hacking situations. I know it's not easy, I know that it's time consuming but it's the best "weapons" that we have at the time and we should continue to use them the best way we can.

It's not a easy fight but we will not give up... It's a lot of situations, a lot of reports but one thing I guarantee you is that they will all be processed and every user reported with valid evidence of hacking will be banned on all accounts that we find... some of them even Hardware ID Ban.

Cannot share more info but one thing I can guarantee is that this will be solved soon. Let's hope that it's really soon... and that after this we will all still be here having fun as we did before (a few back to smiley and others HD Ban).

Once again a huge thanks to all of you and let's hope that this gets solved soon.

Hi @DIABO_GameMasters

I agree having 'some' cheaters GUID banned could be very useful, someone yesterday was harassing one of the GMs telling them, "I don't care if you ban this account, I have another 100"... So such irrational people should be GUID banned, because they should not be part of our community, their only intention is 'sabotaging' the game.

We will do our job as players by reporting cheaters.
