I think new server will be great option to get new players ... on old one are too much high level ppl with best gear what makes this game less atractive for new players ... i remebre that when i played DK few years ago there were many ppl on levels between 50 -100 lvl and it was great and u had alweys party for deadfronts on any grade of it :) I think it's not only my opinion :)

New server is not ideal right now. Maybe when we get enough people to play and hopefully they can give us the option to move into a different server.

We need a new server , ignore the newbies who say we dont , making a new server will attract players , thinking about making a new server on hope of actual ppl revies of the current server will not give positive ratings in making of a new server , simple because they already have OP characters on the actual server .

Making a new server will attract new players , specially if you make a new server when you add the game to steam in the same day

New server would be great! It could be chosen by default when the new player will making a character. Some good advertisement and Dekaron can have 2 alive big servers. I have a high level character, but for sure I would start playing on new fresh server. I would probably be playing on both...

new server ++ I would come back 100% for sure , I would quit any AAA game like the witcher 3 which I play now to come back , but on a new server , + the game need more advertising and steam also

Leveling is not hard beside you need to farm alot to what old player have. Pointlezz to have new server.

I can't agree with u :) i think new server will be the best option and i think many of old players can stay on the old one but if they decide to start on new one they will still have fun playing this game "from the bottom " ... new server will be the cure for Dekaron

#1 : fresh market

#2. less ppl on high level with the best gear

#3: more low lvls means more ppl on e.g. deadfront ( on lower lvls )

#4: everyone have the same chance to get good items etc. bec everything is new

... i can count it more if u want but i think these 4 are the most important things ;)

Well i don't really think so this will suit to most of the Dekaron players because as we both know Dekaron is a really old game. I'll give you an example. Imagine Dekaron as a small, old-fashioned clothing store, it has it's own old costumers for many years even if they are not many are still loyal to that store. So what do u believe it will happen if that little old-fashion store will be re-build? New fashion will be applied to that little old store? I'll tell you^-^ Some of the old-fashion costumers will quit because they won't like the new fashion and if the little store wont succeed on getting new, young costumers soon will close for ever! So that might happen to dekaron too :)

maybe but maybe not :P i think your example isn't good enought cuz "old-fashion store " can stay the same .... Did u play WoW ? blizzard is still changing many of things and lot of ppl stay and they get more and more new players ( i don't want to give u examples bec there are too many of them ) ... Tomori u should imagine that the vertigo/papaya will bring great changes and even players whose play Dekaron form many years will accept that ... more.... they will love that more than old one :P and what will happen then ?

Under what grounds do you think that opening a new server would attract new players? What the lot of you can't seem to understand is that, we barely even have 200 ( give or take ) players on our current server and you want to go ahead and split that down even further. Because let's face it, you guys are not suggesting to open a new server to attract new players, but rather to satisfy yourselves. Because I see no problems as a new player to start on our current server, as I did so myself.

Most of you claim that you'll all be on equal grounds BUT that's only possible if you start at the same time, have the same amount of luck with fortifying and play equal hours, otherwise there will always be someone left behind, just like in our current server.

In the past, when a hefty 50 player strong demanded to open a new server, which was Rondow, how many of those 50 do you think actually played? About half that number, then they had to merge the server back into the original one. Because absolutely nothing was going on there, it was basically a single player game and that's what will happen again.

This game barely see's new people because of the hostility towards them ( when they start and don't know anything about the game. they usually get told that they're noobs and that they should quit. ) and the fact that everyone thinks that they're better than everyone else. ( Those bet PvPs prove this, they're no longer about having fun. but rather to embarrass the losing opponent. ) So the community as a whole as at fault here, 1 or 2 kind people won't counteract this.

Dekaron has a recycling player base, from Global to P-servers, from P-servers to Global, and it's getting smaller every year.

Lets just say we have the new server, I bet you that is not gone attract new players + don't forget now you can lvl very fast to 190+ only thing you need to do is learn your char well and try get all the rings you need.
