I dont know why ppl crying about new server

Says cuz ppl are op? cuz you think you cant catch them?

Ive heard that from all 7 months me and friend started to play here, while everyone was cryign about we got things done and tbh i didnt saw any issues to get on them even though still not done everything.

So instead to cry for new server work on the actual ones to get it done

and no new server is good only for new player, but if vertigo do his job well they can add things to atract and help the new player on the actual server

@MondiVG Depends if the game will be advertised, as far as i remember Nexon Korea policy was to not advertise the game in Europe.

I believe a new server would be a good idea as most of you have said but I also believe its not going to fix the issues. If any of you can remember back when gamehi ran, they opened a server name Rondow. It seem to do well, but then they were deciding to close it so I started a post for votes to keep it open, many voted they loved it, and still was closed down. I think they felt it was not busy enough to keep for this was when we had 2 servers already. They need to make better of what we have now. If they consider what players really would enjoy in game I think it will improve.

You can reach level 190 in 2 months with some help . guild help
the server began with gifts and events,they allow you to reach that level.

I think a new server should be made. To the guy bringing up the Rondow flop, those players that wanted a new server we're already mainly from the Deka community. This game has another chance to recreate itself with new players from the papaya community. Unlike Nexon and previous companies they have a notification system for any major announcement. With that said the potential newcomers from Papaya and fence sitters that left, but been checking up on the game once in a while.. the numbers will be much stronger than the Rondow plea. Also I'm sure there's a few Rondow wanters still lurking around the game.

Worst come to worst if this chance flops, they can just merge the server back to the old one.

Honestly either way Dekaron is kinda screwed unless the some overhaul done to the game and a little balancing (Cash Shop). Keeping it as from the tainted history (hacks,dupes, etc) will quickly lure away new players and leave this game stagnant!

I still don't see how opening a new server would bring any new players whatsoever ( By new players I mean a person that has never played Dekaron, ever ) without any advertising, both of which would cost money to do, and if the game was advertised, that would just bring players in general, it'll have nothing to do with opening a new server. If new players were to join, wouldn't the whole two server scenario cause the community to split and seem smaller than it already is?

The main question is, why do you think that a new server is crucial to attract new players? What's wrong with our current one?

I like how players comment to a new server is: NO we dont need it, it will split the 200 players that are playing this game.

But have u ever considered that old players would return? so u wouldn't have 200 players playing anymore but far more, and papaya would get a ton of cash, cause people would need to spend $$$ on the new server to build items and stuff. Naah let's just do nothing and let the game die right? You want change but only change that can benefit yourselves .. saadly

But if Papaya considers launching a new server they should make it more fun for the average player and less P2W as our offical server status is and have been for a long time under nexon.. But i understand if papaya only wants a business model that says: take as much as we can, but they should really try with a business model that would rebuild the game in a form where everybody has fun, and not only fun for the big spending $$$ users, and that would benefit papaya and the players far more in the long run.

Remembering the old times where i would shake when we got into pvp room in df or when they launched df and people really tried to help eachother to complete it and just some years ago where u actully could kill people in coloseum as lvl 150 with only +7 gear and no rings, belt, armlets and all of that crap.

Well this was just some of my thoughts. Gl papaya with what ever business model you choose for dekaron :-)

INFO about me: Long time player of dekaron, been playing 2moons, switched to eu server when gametribe launched, played with 5 or 6 rl friends, most of my friends stopped after sometime. Still 3 of us have been trying to get into the game again, but we don't find any pleasure in it anymore, And we really used to love this game, u could say we grew up with it. Back in the day it was hardcore grinding, and when u got a level u really felt it was worth something, the game was exciting and hard, you had to know what to do. Like bringing curse set for 90 dg, making fast a/b in crespo dg, + room in norak, 88:88 spot in crespo, guild fights in open land and segs just couldn't relog and res. yeah guess it's hard to explain, but im glad I played this game, i really got some nice LANs with my friends out of it. acually i dont no where im going with this post anymore, im just writing, well atleast this post made me smile because i started thinking of the old times and good memories with my friends.

Last note sorry: I don't think we will comeback this time :( the one shots by players even tho u spend decent $$ on +10 /+9 set and time farming. It just dont motivate u to keep playing when u still get 1 shotted and no player skill is invovled.

I played since I was 2moons , for personal reasons stop play in 2012, a lot has happened since I came back , and I understood little of what I had to advance in the game but failed to understand even more every time he played obviously. I think the issue goes for the branch to be understandable for Latinos as there are few who play it , and tons of items like bufs accessories events etc , which makes stun the player , including low acquisition dil during the game , and it's too difficult to get good items or evolve , perhaps leading to a stage all this stress , just say that this is only part of what I think , there are some other things that are in the game.

If old players wanted to come back, they could, at any time. It doesn't take a new server to do that, when something is to their liking, they'll come. In this case, they want a new server while under the illusion that they could play a fair and square game, PvP with horrible sets and enjoy the game like it once was. If you think that a new server would work under a different system than our current one, then you're sadly mistaken.

Within a short period of time, you'll get 1 shotted again by the people that came and spent $$, by the people that are luckier than you, by the people that have more free time than you, and it'll all just repeat itself, just on another server. The only thing that will differ from the old and the new server would be the market prices. Everything. Else. Will. Be. The. Same.

And on-top of your one shot dilemma, it has nothing to do with the publisher ( Vertigo ), but rather how the game was designed, and for that to change you'll have to take it up with the Koreans.

I still don't see what's wrong with our current server, and if something is wrong, why not try to improve it? Instead everyone is jumping on the *NEW IS BETTER* bandwagon, without any valid reasons too.

You mentioned that the new server would attract donations ( $ ), but then you also didn't want them to gain much or any benefits. I'm sorry but I don't think you're talking about the current Dekaron here at all.

as I said only current players with OP gear will QQ to not start a new server . First of all we need a fresh start , specially if dekaron is going to be added on steam , the feel of something new for players that never touched this game will make them stay , I dont care what you say and new players dont because they will never touch this game or forum when they see that ppl on the official server have years old items/costumes from events that didnt repeat in time .

If there is a new player really watching this forum and my reply listen : current ppl on this server have really OP items and costumes that cant be aquired anymore in game , only from events that ended years ago and never repeated again . Dont listen to them that lvl fast etc etc , thats not the point of a new server , because ppl with $$$ or no lifers will always get the top gear and lvl faster than others , but they cant get anymore rare items that only some special players have them , there is a also a chance for ppl on old server to still have duped items evem if dupe got fixed they could still have the items . We need a clean server and there is no better moment in the history of dekaron to have one than this moment right now , when hacker population is reduced to almost 0 and dupe hack/bug fixed

everything is farmable, even the costumes (Asian Costume) is farmable not easy to get but still is farmable. things such as emblems are not farmable yet but when we get the right updates there is an emblem meister npc to upgrade them too.

also staying with the game and playing it for long time will get you what you want.

getting what you need doesn't happen over night. it takes time.

opening a new server would be bad, but having more players together in the game is better overall at least at the moment.

In my Opinion a new server would rip off those people who've been playing very long
but who says we do need a new server? as Majestic stated above it will only Kill the game
Much players are already coming back since the hostility of the server may change dramaticly Nexon didnt care about us at all but i guess Vertigo Will Change that since their already doing the first steps of going in and thats pretty awsome
