The Player Community needs to convince Development to Stop the Wipe

This is not ok guys where all on the brink of disaster. I already suffer from depression and UWO helped aliviate some of that. WE can't just complain about the wipe we need to contact Vertigo games pay money , push the rerelease out further anything! I heard they did this on other games too killed the player base I got a feeling the wipe didn't happen yet but i think we only have till friday. Everyone, don't accept this this is mmo murder. I already contacted Vertigo games I hope to hear back from them tommorrow I am prepared to pay them to slavage my toons Richard_the_Red and Notorious BIG.

However, I fear that data might have already been well erased. Typically, once something is wiped clean and gone... it's gone. However, Im not holding my breath on that until someone from Papayaplay can get back to us, and I have yet to see any staff member post...
WHERE is this information?? "Due to OGPlanet's discontinuation of service on September 29th, all Uncharted Waters data on their servers been lost." I pulled this from the website https://uwo.papayaplay.com/uwo/ so I am curious where this quote came from.
The UWO Team will be using the relaunch through Papaya Play as an opportunity to revamp many aspects of PvP Battles, including plundered items and Deck Battle frequency, plus a number of other system rebalances. Due to the technical nature of the relaunch, however, all existing player progress and items from OGP will unfortunately be lost, and the game world/economy will undergo a complete reset.
In order to show appreciation for prior player progress and achievements, the UWO Team is offering all legacy OGP players exclusive tiered Founders Rewards, containing various boosts, support items, and Shipbuilding parts, to help launch the next chapter of high seas adventures. All players who complete the Transfer Service will receive their Founders Rewards upon logging in to UWO for the first time when the game relaunches on October 18th, 2017 (PDT). To complete the Transfer Service, simply follow the steps linked above to connect your OGP ID to Papaya Play.
There was a goodly number of non-English speakers playing on GAMA. I never saw them in chat, but I saw them on the oceans and in the towns. They also were hosed by this sale.

That's like trying to play the original Ninja Gaiden on NES.. You finally get to the last level, and then you die. There weren't even any save points, kids are all spoiled these days.. Afterall, you're complaining about a game that's getting upgraded and you can play it for free.. You obviously love the game if you're here, so just get over it.
And despite that loss of data, our login details survived, and will be able to be used with a "tiered" reward system? Despite the fact that everything else is gone? And no, Killa. Action-platformers you can beat in a few hours/days cannot really be compared to a wide open sandbox that people spent years of their time and real life money developing to the point it had reached. The people talking about leaving now clearly had a deep love for this game, but the way they, as well as the game itself are being treated, is the issue here.
