    I see. Part of the agreement once our players moved content to ogp through the player guide contests and such. I pretty much figured the brains and creativity behind the video and text content was irrelevant to the organization.  It sounds snarky because it is.  I would hope that in your field you would recognize that for a pretty big transgression on papaya/koei's part.

    its not a transgression as i stated before u accepted terms of service and terms and conditions for playing UWO on either NM, OGP or even on the relaunch with papayaplay. if u are not satisfied with this game go find another game to play. as for the guides created by players it completely contain ingame content, which is still under KOEI's property

    IDK who this frozen ruby tool is, maybe a plant, doesn't matter really. Some of the guides were copied over by vets (like me) but I"m not posting any of it unless I feel like it. All that information presupposes some level of development on the ports, and that some people will have permits that others don't. With a wipe, the ports in EU have to be developed again, and many of the goods on those guides that help people level won't be available until the needed level of investment is met, let alone the recipes. Now, all the money-making opportunities are VERY limited post-wipe, so getting that level of development is going to take time. With all the vets Papaya just pissed off, the people that know how to do it are gone. All the r20 Shipbuilders? Gone, no development for the ships they need to build to rank back up, let alone dock space to hold ships. Good luck getting your management back up to r10+ to make steam engine parts or 18 gate cannons, the newbie ships can't handle them anyways. I'm thinking we ignore FrozenRuby-the-Troll, as he/she/it has no clue what he/she/it is talking about.

    I have a question. When the game first came out how did people make it this far without guides? I mean the guides were written after people figured out what to do. How did people figure out what to do before all this info was common knowledge?

    ah yes i know nothing about this game not the 7 years i been playing nor my thousands of dollars spent on netcash with Netmarble or with astro's under OGP. lets not forget i know nothing about this games trade system or the fact i've been playing spice trader for 7 years, helped unlock the SEA and EA and India ports for Spain, yes i know absolutely nothing about how to make money on the early game ports that are available for players at the start of a fresh server. nope too inexperienced in that indeed

    and the only reason i have 100+ posts is cause all your guys crying about the wipe its like watching a person take a lolli from a baby and watching the waterworks its pathetic, thought u were all grownups all i see are a bunch of kids crying cause they lost something virtual

    as am i noobness its actually quite funny i haven't stopped laughing since i logged into check the forums, its so pathetic to see growups cry over virtual stuff getting wiped like its the game company's fault that they didn't read the EULA or terms before playing and blame it on someone else for what happened.

    I'm not a lawyer, but it may be worthwhile to consider filling DMCA claims against http://freetoplaymmorpgs.com/uncharted-waters-online if you've created guides that are on their site. You likely can't claim on videos or pictures, but given that OGPlanet's ToS is no longer available and thus irrelevant, who is to say that those words don't belong entirely to the creators. Again, may wanna hit up a lawyer or do some legal research, but from my outside perspective, I think that you could, in good faith, claim that that website stole your content, assuming you have copies and what not.

    I don t know what are you,or what are you trying to become,here and in the game but for shure you are not an admin and you will never become one.
    This kind of thinking that you have and maybe other people from Papaya too,create this chaos and finished UWO.
    You should learn to respect everyone and you should accept that you are NOT allways right.
    And second,let me remind you your words: ”A few players don t count”.
    Well listen to this: In every business,in society,in life,if you want to do something,if you want to be someone you have to learn that EVERY SINGLE PLAYER COUNT,EVERY COMPLAIN SHOULD BE LISTEN AND ANSWERED,EVERY DIME INVESTED IN THIS GAME SHOULD COUNT.
    Let me give you a bad news...these old players count...YOU DON T COUNT!!
    And remember ”no man is an island”. Even if you where an admin or something this game doesn t mean shit without this players you attack in every post.

    The website didn't "steal" anything. Someone had to upload the guides to them. They just don't randomly go and collect guides from hundreds of games. Check the game list they have.

    Not saying that in offense to our new overlords, but I have no reason to believe that that site is affiliated with papaya, and regardless, as mama said, most of those guides are irrelevant until development happens anyway.

    ur forgetting its no OGP's terms its KOEI's product its their terms OGP and netmarble even papaya are just hosting sites for the game not the owners.


    yes everyone has a right to an opinion but when it becomes a cry for attention it becomes less of an opinion and more about drama. i am not always correct i never claimed to be correct or perfect or always right. 
    i am not trying to become anything its just sad seeing all these adults crying over a virtual game and making such a big deal about a server wipe like its the end of the world for them.
    a few player don't count remember its up to the game owners and developers to decide the fate of the game/server, not papaya not ogp not even netmarble its falls on KOEI, i have invested plenty into this game and i know many have as well, now as for attacking players in every post i am simply and player and person who is tired of all the sob stories of how its unfair that some players finally got the server to wipe we are loosing everything we payed for and its the end of the world i'm not going to play this anymore but i'll still complain and cry and make drama on forums. its like watching a child throw a temper tantrum over something they couldn't have. the announcements that have been released clearly state that wipe is going to happen. 

    'he UWO Team will be using the relaunch through Papaya Play as an opportunity to revamp many aspects of PvP Battles, including plundered items and Deck Battle frequency, plus a number of other system rebalances. Due to the technical nature of the relaunch, however, all existing player progress and items from OGP will unfortunately be lost, and the game world/economy will undergo a complete reset.'

    this is on the playuwo.com page it clearly states in the bold why the server is going to be wiped.

    because enough stuff is going to be altered that a wipe is necessary to ensure that data corruption doesn't occur.

    the FAQ"s on papaya plays website for UWO migration question clearly state what the transfer service is for. 
    'Unfortunately, your character progress and inventory will not be moved as part of the Transfer Service. The Transfer Service will designate your account as a ‘Founder’ Uncharted Waters account, which will entitle you to Founders Rewards and other special perks following the relaunch on Papaya Play.'

    and ontop of that ' Papaya Play will also continue the Age of Revolution Expansion release schedule, including the Age of Reason chapter content and beyond, adding new regions to explore and all new ways to play.'

    there is really nothing to complain about we all know ur unhappy that its being wiped ur loosing all that stuff u spent money on all those hours and years and time u spent playing UWO. but what is best for the server is not ending up corrupted because players thought that their opinion was the best option for the server rather then the experts who maintain and update the server add expansions and content, that the players know best what is in the best interest of the company.  

    as of right now a wipe will happen, new content will be added rebalances will be done, a fresh start for all that stay or join this game.  so why complain about something out of ur control. instead of being such 'Drama queens' about it try being a little more positive, not everyone wants to listen/read player crying over a virtual game like their life is going to end because of it.

    I didn't even spend money on this game and I see the flaws in your arguments. People lost money and time. This isn't your average joe game. We can't all just move on like you. We all come from different backgrounds and financial situations. I'm starting to see you complain about others than others complain about the reset now.

    You bet your ass they will want attention. This wipe was short notice and PapayaPlay has not been good at all with their communication with us. I would be angry too if I invested so much of my years in this game. This game is practically at the level of a job for some.

    We have not been provided anything other than PapayaPlay's word about all of this which so far is not meaning much. I am comfortable with the wipe, but not everyone can move on as easy as you. OGP screwed everyone no matter what you invested in the game. YOU are acting just as much as a child throwing a tantrum. You don't need to go spamming every thread telling us how bothered you are. Just log out and go do something else. We got the message already.

    People have a perfectly good reason to be angry, which you clearly are having trouble grasping. I don't like to see you posting the same stuff in every thread over and over just as you don't like to see the complaints.

    Alright, so i just read this entire thread, everyone pointed out OGP has royally screwed us over and now Papaya is preforming a wipe.. they blamed on OGP then decided to reword it so as to revamp the game.... soo OGP was seriously messed up and they still managed to take all the data from Netmarble and recover all your accounts... now papaya cant even manage to import the data.. saying since the servers were closed on the 29th of sept.. give me a break, netmarble closed and iirc there was no one to pick the game up for some time... any faith i may have had in papaya has been completely destroyed here.

    They better have FREE:
    SHARED STORAGE 1
    SHARED STORAGE 2
    CAPTAINS BAG
    SKILL NOTES
    ETC..

    AND i really hope they dont bend to the wishes of the new generation of i want everything now.. if i am gonna do it all over i am gonna earn that again and so should all the new players, that self pride and respect made the game great!!

    Papaya, you can easily remove any unwanted items from the game, this has been done to many other games,  don't use that as an excuse to do a server wipe, whatever your motives are, this means total disrespect to all players who spent thousands of hours and a lot of patience grinding their skills, not to mention all the money spent...
    Come to your senses, until its not too late...

    I'll add my name to the list of people you won't see another penny from. Having hundreds to thousands of dollars worth of purchases erased with the wave of a hand is not going to convince me to support your business.
