Papaya needs to open kick starter page, once we hit certain number they open server :D  i know i'd find $20 and add to it :D  and i've not spent money in years :D

    it was a suggestion to papaya no facts in that.  cept that i ain't spent money on uwo in yrs :D

    lolno. They haven't given a solid indication that they are on top of anything, much less at a point where I'd spend money. Might trust them one day, but today is not that day..

    Seems like, based on whatever arguments some have already decided to turn their backs on Papaya and yet say goodbye to Papaya's UWO. Some say they only do so temporary till Papaya proved them wrong, others plan to do so forever (still somewhere in their harts I notice a little door is still open to re-enter UWO, if not they wouldn't be still posting whole the time hehe)...

    I was wondering either if that is the best way to act at this time rather than give the new server a chance under Papaya management and some times later see whether Papaya does a good job or not?? 
    If at least we give it a try, we'll be able to judge on what we actually get and didn't get, rather than judging on speculations, irritations, frustrations about the reset and whatsoever...

    Apart from all our losses on in-game belongings, we have nothing else we could probably blame Papaya for. And by the way, it was not their decision to stop UWO on OGP, so if already someone has to be blamed, it would be OGP and OGP only since they didn't manage the game as it should have been managed. At least Papaya is willing to give us the opportunity to ever play again. And if the price I have to pay for that is a reset of all I have, then let it be. As long as I'll be sailing again soon, it's all fine to me.
    I could built it up once, so I can do so twice and I will try to enjoy the nostalgic moments I will come across once again as well as all hard-knocking phases of the game...

    And u know what, all I do, it will all be even better than before!
    The essence of the game to me is to set my mind away from everyday misery, and that will work for me with less the gorgeous stuff I used to have in the past. After all, the gorgeous stuff I had will automatically come as time moves on. So no hurry, no rushing for me, I'll enjoy the game as it comes...

    As SOTMead said. We don't really know anything about these guys, throwing money at them without knowing more is a big mistake. There's a chance we get a better version of GVO here but there's a better chance that very little changes and all they did was wipe spender's progress so they would be compelled to spend again.

    I'd say coast on your founder's rewards until we see how things shake out, don't feed the beast when you can avoid it.

    Letting people's posts hang in limbo while at the same time not talking to the community is a big problem, on top of the wipe.

    So let me get this straight.  It's bad enough they completely wipe our characters.  But you also want to give them an interest-free loan on the condition that they might open the server early?
