    People if u'd actually any ToS for a micro transaction type game, or lottery bottle type game, the minute u spent ur real life cash into virtual money it instantly becomes forfeit. Stop complaing about losing stuff, please as i've said on numerous posts very few lost more than i did. i know good and well over 200b in ships and gear's, been playing since BETA so got more time than most. Done almost everything in the game to max, and since no piracy it was boring. So now we have piracy again, game WON'T be boring, it mite be frustrating and u mite get pissed when ur plundered but the overall aspect of the game will return. You wanna do nothing but pvp and make money, nows ur chance, get good, get decent battle ship, and let nanbanner fleets hire u to protect against peeps like me. Very few skills in-game i didn't grind like persuasion and voilin playing, but other than that i can tell u how to super-speed grind any skills, so PM me i'll assist anyway i can, yes i will be focused mainly on making my pirate the best/fastet pirate in-game as i was doing before, but i will also be online a good-bit and in a public channel, so i can assist with any and all questions.  This IS good for the game, believe it or not. Thou it mite not be good for you, trust the game will flourish.

    i wonder if Koei done this to the Asian server would their players complain as much as the ones here or would they complain more. i understand lots of us are upset but all the complaining crying moaning threatening to quit wont change what will happen. lots are upset and i expect some might quit but most will be back maybe after a short rage quit. :D  they will miss the game and come back 

    myself i hope they do fix all the problems with the game. and with possibly hundreds of new players who might bring this game back to life. i look forward to teaching them what little i know and i hope the long time players are there with me. 

    btw for those who posted on here or commented or made it their personal job to stir the pot and cause more anger instead of keeping their half smart ass remarks to themselves and let people blow off some steam. get a life :)

    it not about crying or whining about the delete. I am mad  about how unreliable the game is. Why should I invest years on a toon to be deleted few years down the road. Corbeau RIP, I am going to go back play EVE.

    I have played this game on and off for years. This idea of a reset more or less blindsided me.

    I'm open minded about the reset, but i'm doubtful. I will most likely be not spending a single dollar unless the community, not just me, are recompensed for their efforts in keeping the community and the game alive all these years.

    If you have little to no understanding of this game or its community, you probably do not understand the amount of time, money and effort people have put into being someone in this game. While i personally was against the really annoying chance-based gold-seller type economy that has plagued the game, and understand it most likely takes extreme measures to try something else, i see no good coming from this choice.

    Over the years i have sunk in hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours into this game, not only because of the game being very good, but because of the community being excellent. If you piss on the community, you are left with only a great game for a rather niche audience, of which' pillars are most likely not going to return due to having so much of their effort wasted.

    I'd propose at the very least letting people have their ships and gear. A complete economy reset would only require getting rid of the insane amounts of money that roll around everywhere. There is no amount of consumables you can give us that in any way recompense the work that people have done for this game's community.

    The funny thing is, i personally have thought it has been a good idea to have a premium subscription model of this game instead of the model it has had for a long time, but not for one moment have i thought it's a good idea to wipe all the progress away.

    Sorry but some crap rewards are not going to replace 8 years of leveling and acquiring items, as well as money spent in the cash shop. Give your head a shake.

    I guess I am glad UWO is still going to go on, but I can't see myself having the fortitude to put the time in to get even close to where I was before. It will probably become a legacy game for me now, a game to log into from time to time to relive old memories. I think the days of relaxing runs through the North West passage to Japan and back for a Nanban run are long in the past for me. RIP to the UWO I once knew. :(
