With plundering and increased pirating abilities that affect all players who aren't red, Bounty Hunters will take on a new role as the primary in-game pirating deterrent. With the rules of the game giving one back to the pirates, pirating is going to be more popular than ever. The early days of this server will see tons of low-level player pirates in cash ships trying to prey on the weak (there's always that prey on the weak thing).

In the recently passed version of Uwo, Bounty Hunters were more of a token game element than a real deterrent to piracy. While there are some BH that stood above the rest, there was never a feeling of serious responsibility to bring pirates to justice.

In this new Uwo, Bounty Hunters can be transformed into the hardcore hunters they're supposed to be. In other words...if you see a pirate, you should see a Bounty Hunter Chasing him/her.

Black Water Company will be built around maritime and shipbuilding.
We will organize, train, and put into the world capable shipbuilders and teams of Bounty Hunters.

Black Water Company will come into existence in the port of Seville Spain once the game is restarted. If you want to join the Bounty Hunter Corps or Learn Shipbuilding, you are welcome to apply.

    Chompin' at the bit for game start so as to make application to the company for consideration as a bounty hunter.  Finally! A reason to sail, and a noble cause to pursue.

    Heys Guys Thanks for your interest! Black Water is open to all nationalities of players. If you are interested in BH and or Shipbuilding, you are more than welcome to apply. As for privateers, I have always respected good maritimers on both sides of the color spectrum and this is not likely to change soon.  I have let plenty of pirates into my company and the results of doing so have never caused a real issue that I'm aware of.

    That being said, with the restart of the server I am attempting to bring some value to being a Bounty Hunter in the game where before I felt like it was a kind of hollow undertaking.Along with bringing some value to being a BH, I also want to create a distinction between the red and blue.

    I have long been bothered by the fact that the top BH are generally pirates who go back and forth between blue and red for kicks. Not only do I feel that this practice devalues the recognition of the BH position, it can create some confusion in the world population. Have you ever wondered if that Bounty Hunter that's seemingly protecting the port from pirates will attack you?

    For the time being, Black Water is taking an "IF YOU'RE RED YOU'RE DEAD POLICY".
    Please note this is not designed to create any friction or animosity. It is simply the first step in creating a noticeable distinction between red and blue players and bringing value to the office of Bounty Hunter.

    Seem to remember the English trying to form a group of high lvl maratimers 'protectors/hunters' about 7 years ago. Sorry, didn't work, people were either in the wrong area, or job or just too busy doing other things to care much about the pirates blocking Cali or whatever.

    I am not that good in PVP battles cause my turns are not perfect but I have been known to try and defend myself against pirates when I had room for ammo :)
