Server bug/ cheap tickets from yesterday

So yesterday people could buy tickets and items super cheap until they reset the server again. Are you guys letting people keep that stuff? I know people who got hundreds of tickets for next to nothing. Just wondering what if anything is gonna be done.

    If they got hundreds of tickets for next to nothing then I think that their accounts should get reset and they should lose everything including any bonuses they received for porting from OGP. 

    They used their UWC to make those illegal purchases, so they should lose all the UWC they paid for.

    Papaya play should punish these people severely because when they signed up for the game, they agreed that they would not use exploits or bugs to better their characters. They did that, so they should be banned. At least in my eyes.

    I have a question. How did they buy those tickets illegally being they are UWC tickets that is sold in the UWC stores?

    bink is the one who should be banned, not only for writing such a moronic post, but also just because he seems like a real douche. Buying something that is mistakenly priced too low is not "illegal". It's not even against the rules because the rules say you can buy at the prices posted. I think the only violation here is of bink's super sensitive nether regions.

    As far as I'm able to determine, it's a TOS violation not to report something like that and take advantage of it.

    n hundreds of tickets for next to nothing yeah whatever even at as low ass 300NWC for 10 tickets thats close to 50 dollars for 100 not like getting one lot of 10 was glitchin out giving them endless tickets or something


    have the items from that little fire sale are probably on the ground already anyway what crap didnt land in the dirt probably got given away to make room for better drops


    Just a little reminder that its the coiners paying for the server for all you F2P crumbs to fill with your storage alts n other cheap work arounds

    And of course Twitchalot if you noticed  THawk right away say it is the ones with alts that bought them and are reselling them to ruin the economy. Why does it seem like people who use alts are always thrown under the bus with BS like this. It was a mistake on the servers part and people bought the stuff. So people should be banned for it. Go figure. Next people who don't agree with others will be called to be banned.

    If you want to start punishing people for the UWC flub that was all papaya's fault, then you better start punishing the Aventure-to-60 winners that exploited a specific NON-REPEATABLE quest to earn extra exp faster so they could win the Top Ten unfairly. :)

    The way I see the mishap of UWC cheap tickets is think of it like Walmart and their 'Doorbuster' black friday sales. Those first in the door got cheap items with limited quantity. I just try to think of it like that so I'm not so bothered by it. Just sore I missed the chance. :p

    If that's going to be the case Ezio, then, ok precedent has been set: From now on all TOS violations are to go unpunished. Because if that's what's going to happen this time, then that's what has to happen every other time. And, not to put too fine a point on it but, while I can't prove it, it seems only logical that the only ones that would protest against Papaya Play doing something about this are the ones who benefited from it.

    Have to agree with ezio wholeheartedly here. 

    A dangerous trend I see with our player base is that we tend to blame our players and not the provider and we CANNOT afford to lose more players especially when its not their fault . I saw this when players bought the Bugged forge tools before Netmarble announced they were bugged they were people calling for their ban and I saw it again when players were pressuring OGP for details of the wipe,  players were vilified just for wanting answers despite OGP giving no information. If we keep this up we won't have a playerbase if its the provider fault its their fault we shouldn't try to push the rest of our already diminished player base out. 

    Heres what I think we should do...

    We should do another sale 10 minutes only about 1 week from now so everyone knows about it 75% off  on event tickets after 10 mins sale is over. 


    That sounds fair to me at least

    We can just let it go.

    I have bought ticket from the first round and now from the update. I really seems to me that they Nerfed the drop rate of ships since the update.

    As for the cheap tickets, I look at it like they got in on a good sale. Just means that they bought more and prices should be a bit lower due to the market being more flooded.

    Last thing I will do is whine it's unfair because I did not get them. Nor do I see it as a TOS violation. People saw they were priced lower and purchased them.
    As far as I am concerned running 2 toons at once for any reason goes against the Intent of the game and should be banned.

    If you read the TOS, what the players who, instead of reporting the glitch/bug went and bought those cheap tickets did was indeed in violation of it. And as such, those who did should be subject to being banned or punished severely in some way by Papaya Play for said violation. However, will that happen, and will we ever really know if it did? Unless a list of violators and what happened to them gets posted by Papaya Play, no.

    I could argue that perhaps those that saw the cheaper price assumed it was a legitimate reduction in price and not a bug or glitch, hence no violation.
    However multiboxing even with one extra toon is an obvious attempt at circumventing the Intent of the game. Since the game does not allow anyone to play more than one toon at a time on one instance of the game it stands to reason that it is not intended to be played that way and any attempt to open a second instance of the game or run additional software (desktop etc) is an attempt at cheating.

    look out i got an other example... ever been in a real shop like not online, ya know what happens when they missprice items n someone tries to buy it at the marked price.... the poor fool lookin to buy it goes to jail.... oops guess they best be banded then ay....

    Papaya Play should have been consulted before any tickets were purchased, because a legitimate price drop that large on tickets would have been announced by them . No matter how much they try to rationalize it to salve their consciences(if they have one), the people who bought the cheap tickets knew what they were doing and knew that it was wrong, and should be dealt with accordingly. But, as I said, we'll never know what happened unless Papaya Play tells us.

    After all it was called the black Friday event. For those unaware of American tradition. Black Friday is the day after our thanksgiving holiday in which stores give great deals to start the Xmas shopping season.
    Cheap tickets during the papaya black Friday event seems legit.

    Now there are many games out there that allow a player to control a team of toons, and all of those game make this possible while running only one instance of the game.

    UWO is like when you are driving a car and the speed limit is 50 but you do 60, pass a police officer but he does not chase you. That does not mean you where not breaking the law, just means he did not enforce it.

    @Culvern They allow upto 3 toons per IP so they allow more then one instance of the game to be run so it is not against any rules to do so
