    you know, this whole topic is subjective. In reality, there is no such thing as 'best ship' or 'top tier'. All ships have advantages and disadvantages with varying skill sets to fit individual players preferences and styles. What might work for one person won't necessarily work for another player. A good player in a well modded 'low tier' ship can easily defeat an inexperienced player in a poorly modded 'top tier' ship. This thread more accurately should've been called "what's your favorite ship from the tickets" rather than "what's the best ship"

    True my LLM was -25 and G6.
    But for the first few years it was only -20 Ang G4 which is what my ALR is now. The LLM was way faster, WAY!

    I think the question is fine, there is still what are the better ships and poorer ships no matter the user.

    A professional racing driver in a 2.0 Clio sport can probably win a race against an unskilled driver who is in a Nissan GTR

    But the GTR is still the clear winner as regards which is the best racing car.

    Just comparing base stats of the new ambush LR vs the others as well as the LMs (assault,light) the new ambush LR has higher base sails out of the gate and being iron, if a guy teaked that; it would no doubt be faster than the agile LR and would compare to LLM. LLM
    Would still take the edge though considering total cargo size. If only the Cargo was much less and could get EA as optional without inherent, the she might be faster.

    Nevertheless, I think I’m going to pirate/speed mod mine just to see how she turns out..

    Can’t deny those base sail stats!

    You know how some people talk about wasting a bunch of good parts on a barca? I thought it might be fun to do the same with an ALR, but for real not just talking, so that's what I'm doing. Update to follow.

    Good parts will always be around, it’s the ships that are harder to get. If it’s a nice nc ship I say max mod and use good parts.
    Also if your going to noc it you have to max it. Noc is rather than DSails
