Pirates make up a small percentage of the game population, that is the only way they can survive. Lots of other weaker maritime players who's games they can spoil. Netmarble checked where they where getting money from and that was the majority of players and listened to them. If you want a sea battle game where you are playing against people of the same skill go play World of Warships. It has FAR better strategy, weaponry graphics, physics and complexity.

As a Battle Game UWO is kind of simplistic, Or are you just a coward who likes to know he will always win by hitting unarmed traders and adventurers ?

There are No other MMO's out there that can compete with UWO for crafting/trading or Adventure. None. This is the only one worth anything for that type of game play. So it should play to its strengths not its extremely simplistic battle model.

@jameshart2. I find the hunt to be the fun. Not beating defenceless traders.....
Most time I give back what I take and revive the opponents crew. Unless they are towing alts in Clermont (they are just greedy players killing the game)

I have played as a pirate and a merchant, have you?
If not uoubreally don't have the insight to make a competent arguement.

When I heard this, I could feel sadness come from the bottom of my heart. The stupidity of people, stacked together with their own arrogance and egoism has gone beyond imagination. In the future world even a normal person is a genius. The IQ of humanity drops to a level I could not believe.

I have grind maritime in Black Sea for nearly 3 weeks. So I am the most suitable person you could ask me about that.

Compare to the number of pirates available, and the counts of players I could count with the fingers of one hand of mine, in 3 weeks. Yes...

Killa and the rest of the pirates will go through this process. This is what I predict. You can take it as a whine or a cry baby, I am okay with that. Just don't call me a genius later, because I am just a normal person.

1st, You would be over-joyed. This is the same when the relaunch with the item plunder.

2nd, You will find no targets to hunt for a very long time. Same like Naver (I heard him even converted to nanban at a point, and then later I heard he only appears at ESF)

3rd, You will finally found it is pointless to stay here, and you will find yourself another game which worth your cash and your time.

So, since you all have so much confidence in the incoming updates... I could see I could not do anything but to encourage you.
