In the past you could hold about certain amount of items in receive-items, however, they expanded by giving about 400 slots with total 50 on each page.
All receive items are safe without any expiration as far as I know :-)

Before PP took over, when the delivery to the bank of puchase/event items began, it came with an assurance/warning that those items would be remain there for one year, and that after that time, they might be lost. Not would be, but might be.
Since no one ever lost anything, even after 2-3 years, the decision must have been made to let players keep what they bought or won. Seems like a wiser choice than deleting something that might make a player quit. Maybe they even removed the warning at some point?
After the reset, I don't think PP ever included the 1 year rule that was never applied anyway.
