Quest completion NPC error

Upon completing quests the text in the NPC bubbles rapidly appears and vanishes before I have a chance to read it. It's a relatively minor thing but I enjoy reading the little side-comments the Quest NPCs make whenever I turn in a quest to them. I want to get fully immersed in Latales story and this little bug is hindering me. I'd greatly appreciate a response to this, thank you! Otherwise I'm very much enjoying myself.
