How can i delete my character?

Hello :) i was wondering how i'm able to delete a character? I already tried deleting it , but nothing happens. I also removed all things i had in my inventory and the items i had equipped. I wasn't able to delete everything though , an event gift box item and the bow of zestiria. Thanks in advance :)
