2nd password lag

Anyone else having some bad lag when they try to click in their second password? I know its not my mouse. Sometimes it wontw even register the click, or it gets read as a double click. Had to start over 8 times and wait a good 10 seconds between each click. I have no lag when I get in the game however. Thought my mouse was fudged, but i tried it in other programs and its fine. Reset my modem and did a comp restart as well.
