Point in returning?

I lost my account from the old server due to some sort of bug with my papaya account, couldn't even access helpdesk with it. So, all of that is gone.
But I know Korean MMOs, starting over from scratch and being F2P only gets you so far in some of these games, and I don't remember Latale at it's core being that friendly to F2P either. I look at the prices on this server and the smaller userbase, I have a feeling it's even less friendly but I'm just assuming.
Is it worth it to rebuild right now? I'm in no position to load up, and although I wouldn't mind if I could, I just can't right now. Is the state of the game right now very F2P unfriendly? I don't mind grinding like mad but if there's nothing on the board from the shop to try and get the ball rolling like Ely pets, and other things to boost ely, then maybe I should back off for now?
