Still a good game in my opinion but i will say the events are a bit lack luster, and they could be better.

Forums are super dead though....what's up with that?!

I feel the beginning portion of the game is still great.  I'm opposed to the latter half which seems to be entirely dungeon/party oriented.  With it's ever low population this social aspect breaks the game for many.  I've always wanted a solo path, sure you can still do that but it's ridiculously slow and painful and I don't have the time, the internet, or the patience for it these days.  Getting to play with others is great and can be a lot of fun but when the game hinges on it you're going to have problems.

The above mentioned with connectivity limitations being server sided and online only also hamper it from a purely gameplay perspective.  I have little hope either of those will change.

Blah blah blah, not really a complaint, just how I have seen it for some time.  I have history with this game and I'll still play it very casually till it completely dies.
