I have looked and looked, as well as asked people in game and either no one knows or they choose not to answer.  I am looking to find how to get a FREEDOM CRYSTAL that is needed to socket wings and where they drop or how you find them?

Are you talking about the NPC Parakel that has options for Synthesized Wings? (as in the image below)

If so, i believe the NPC was part of an update that never fully came into the game.

However, I've never heard about Freedom Crystal or socketing wings.

No, go talk to Carmen, and choose socket Item and put your wings in, it only works on certain wings but as an extra it says you need a freedom crystal just to try.   Ask around people can show you their wings that have sockets.  And they have gems released that go into the wings.

U need to destory any wings with disassembly hammer for it.

Go to any BLACKSMITH in Ardeca and choose BRAND-->DISMANTLE

Put ANY type of WINGS and DISASSEMBLY HAMMER

U can get disassembly hammer from dungeons. Best chance for it is Lv155 Crespo dg but ive got from Lv140 Elleghos (Space) and Lv160 Ellohnom dgs too.

Different wings gives different pcs of crystals!

I link some wings and u can check (more dils for destroy gives more pcs of crystals)

So when u get ur crystals go to Carmen (Alchemist) and now u can make slots for ur wings.

I M P O R T A N T ! ! !

U cant make slots to all wings!

From popular wings u can make on Blue DK Wings, Red DK Wings, Mechanic Wings (not gold) and Wings of Dreams! U cant slot Flag of War WIN or Dark Arcadia for example!

I made a Wings of Dreams for myself and let u know that the success rate on that wings is 2 6 % only!

U cant add any items/gems/DShop for increase this rate!

And if u made 1 slot on wings u can lose it if u fail on 2nd slot!

So its not so izi but gl buddy!
