Pacifist Merchant seeks position with London Company

I am a mature, some would say ancient, new player with about two weeks experience of this game. Basically, I know nothing other than the basics. Currently my levels are Adventure - 19, Merchant - 21 and Maritime - 23. I am presently trying to get a Job Card to get a Job to learn Ship Handling, which seems to be one of the 'highly recommended' skills for all Voyagers to have.

I have not yet decided on a speciality, but it is not going to be anything associated with combat; I cannot even take on the ships that are waiting for me outside Amsterdam and I am, absolutely, not a fan of PvP, so I am going to avoid that all together.
