New elemental/disaster stones are broken??!!

So I was lucky enough to get a couple of the new elemental gems for the belt and bracelets. (9% light gems). and replaced the improved ardeca socket stones I had initially. My damage has been significantly reduced when performing my light combo, and this is quite unusual, as the older 10% light gems for wep had a significant increase in my light combo.

I may be losing some 'all attack' stats yes but I am gaining more 'elemental attack' stats, which should boost my elemental dmg.

Are the new elemental/disaster stones broken?!?

Anyone else having this issue.??
