Pets questions?

I was wondering do pet sat increase stack? Or is it only he one that i have a main oet/displayed? Last question is... for the pet skills am I able to only use my main pet skills or can i use my other pet skills that are not my main pet equipped? I dont wanna spend a lot on pets and only one thing works on it etc....
